Even #52 has to admit that he’s probably past the days of bringing it from the edge. And with Perry a versatile player (when healthy) he plays DE, they could go even and Matthews is the SAM. I agree with the idea that Jones plays a wild card, but they also need to assess Burnett’s long term with the team. He gets hurt an awful lot, and they need stability in the secondary more now than ever. Could a Eugene Robinson like signing be in store?
