I have no idea but it's clear something weird is happening to Fields draft stock that can't be explained by what happened in the college season and workouts. He was #2 all year then made the championship game, losing to an Alabama team that was going to beat any team in college football. Not sure what's made him drop.

I don't know much about scouting QBs but Wilson, Lantz and Jones have huge red flags. Lance and Jones played just one season. The opposing defenses that Lance and Wilson played likely had a combined zero future NFL starters (at least no more than a handful). Jones played with a collection of offensive talent that was probably only matched by Ken Dorsey (with those early 2000's Miami teams) and Tua (in 2019). The fact all that gets discounted is just weird. But again, I don't know how to scout QBs so maybe they all see something I don't.
