- Didn't watch quite as much film during year off as he told the team.
- Hasn't "embraced analytics" so much as sought an analytics endorsement.
- Hasn't gotten around to calling his QB after a week on the job.MM hiring another old chum from Pittsburgh days in Blasko (GB's asst. OL coach 2016-2018) to work with Philbin on the OL.
Another red flag. Dallas has, for the past several years, had one of, if not the elite offensive lines in football. Colombo, even with some real injuries to personnel (including losing Travis Frederick for an entire season) has kept that unit humming like a fine oiled machine.
I've not heard anything about there being a problem between ownership and Colombo. So why is McCarthy being allowed to jetison the coach of one of the most successful units on the team? With all the problems Dallas has had, the line ain't one of them.
