Rodgers wants control, as Brandt said. He played his hand right before the draft, through his agent, thinking that would be the best time for getting/taking control. The Packers didn't flinch. They didn't because they had control before this happened and still do. If he really wanted to get control, he needed to start this public conversation back in late Feb. Now, he's more at the mercy of the Packers than he would have been 2 months ago.
If/When they trade him, he still doesn't get control. So while he'd have another job, it wouldn't be the one he wants.

Why? Because they'll take less to bury him with some shit team? The guy is a cancer anyways. He'll just poison any team he goes to. Or are they worried he'll light them up?

That's good management.
