McGinn's theory strikes me as beyond absurd. AR's position of wanting security and some control over the timeline of being replaced is no more reasonable than the team wanting maximum flexibility at the QB position in dealing with their first round pick. Both sides just need to find an acceptable middle ground and If they can't find one the team needs to trade AR for maximum compensation.
