Really disappointing, but, the kid could turn things around. Couldn't get any worse for him. He is a pitcher with solid stuff, at least in 2018. Maybe he finds it again, as well as Freddie.

We've got an interesting road left here. Maybe Jesus finds his swing that was like a surgeon last year before the All-Star break. Maybe Gio comes back effectively. Maybe Attanasio realizes what he bought with Cain, Yelich, Moose and Grandal, and sees his window to make that investment pop requires more jack...

Stearns wants pitchers with team control, but, we don't have enough chips, or, rather, we'd have to empty the farm, and Attanasio would have to commit to throwing monster coin to finish the job. I'm hoping he sees that. Winning a WS would bring those monies back tenfold.

I will be floating on a ****ing cloud if Stearns lands both an Ace starter and a quality closer. That's what we need to finish this out.
