Pitching wins championships. No team can win the whole enchilada without it.

All I know is this Brewers team does look "all-in" this season, and they appear to be just sitting back, very discerningly to make their "best" moves. Plenty of baseball left to play, and many trade possibilities. I read Thor is going to be available too.

They probably wanted to wait and see if Nelson/Gio/Chacin/Peralta could bring their games back before jumping on high dollar Keuchel/Kimbrel. Chase Anderson has looked to have come along nicely, and I really, really liked the Gio signing. Might need another quality starter, but they do have time to figure that out. They appear to really need another closer to help carry the load. Barnes/Burnes/Claudio/Albers have really struggled out of the pen.

Good take. I actually think the starting pitching is OK right now. Davies has been spectacular and Woodruff and Anderson have exceeded expectations as well. As long as Gio can eat up some innings they should be OK. Nelson would be gravy if he could be an average 5th guy.

The bullpen is where they need some help. Right now, if you had a must win game to get into the playoffs, who would you trust in the bullpen. The list would probably begin and end with Hader and Jeffress,  although Junior Guerra has been solid. The guy they really need is Burnes. He looked like a future all-star last year and might be the worst pitcher in the NL (at least statistically) so far this year. They need that multi-inning guy from the bullpen to keep them in games and I guess the only option this year has been Guerra.
