Dodgers look even better than they were last year and Milwaukee still couldn’t beat last years version. Offensively, this team is as good if not better but the pitching is far from playoff caliber at this point.
Realistically, they need two starters and probably at least one if not two relief guys including possibly a closer. The Brewers would have to empty their minor league system to get there + Hiura and I’m not sure that would still be enough to get them over the hump.
If you knew that Nelson would come back to 2017 form and at least one of the youngsters other than Woodruff could make the leap then maybe you consider making a couple of bold moves or additions. Just not sure this is the right time or situation to do it.
