Back in '89 I flew from Austin to a conference in Chicago. An engineer fresh out of college was in our group. Really highly recruited, top 1% of his class - smart guy. Anywho, he'd never been out of Texas his whole life... as we made our approach to O'Hare and looped out over the big pond, he commented, "I didn't know Chicaco was on the coast".
