Right now he’s nowhere close to an NBA quality PF or C. 

He of course needs to continue to get stronger, but he needs to play more above the rim. He has good touch around the rim, and amazing hands. 

His inabilty to shoot will always be his main problem, and he’s going to need to prove he can handle a double team. 

I don't think he'll ever play in the NBA. If you aren't going to be a featured guy in the post, you have to be able to shoot from at least 15-18 feet (or more ideally, a corner 3). If you can't shoot from there, the offense ends up having to play 4 on 5. Happ is the antithesis of the Warriors/Rockets model.

Nigel Hayes was a similar type player and he's now getting a shot because he showed he could hit the 3 at a high percentage in the G league (even though his first two games with the Kings have been terrible in terms of shooting).
