I can see where Gordon's beef is. As a first rounder not picked in the top 10, his 5th year option is a whopping 5.6 million a season. Knowing that the shelf life of RB's, even really good ones, is very limited, I can see why he'd be barking for a new deal.
A pundit talking about this on one of the 4 letter networks made a good point. You're really better off as a RB going in the second round or lower. If your picked 11-32, and your really good, your likely screwed money wise for 5 seasons.
