I like the Turner signing.
He's bound to beat out Spriggs and/or Bell, and if they wash all the way out, their salary can pay for his.
I'm hoping between this and the draft, we can clear out the backwash along the OL. Murphy, Patrick, Spriggs, McCray, and that Kofi guy all have a few years in the league, and even some starting experience, so it's time for them to either crap or get off the pot. I'm not looking for any of them to become starters, but I'd expect them to be rock-solid backups. Whoever loses out didn't need to be there.

Could not agree more.

Now, there is always the risk that Turner may not pan out, but it is great to see that at least Gutey is aware of and actively trying fix that gaping hole at RG.

It makes no sense to ignore that hole or to hope the right player falls to GB in the draft, especially when anyone drafted will likely take some time to develop.

GB being proactive during free agency at edge, Safety, and RG also really opens the possibilities for the upcoming draft. Who knew free agency could be our friend.

Yep it can be your friend as a team and damn is it nice having Gute running the show being aggressive and working to get things fixed.  The best part is that I would bet he isn't done yet.
