Unlikely but I'll take it! Grosh really looks good. Damn that catch is close!

Good stop D held them to 3. Not sure if we have enough time for a drive, how about a returnable kick?

No kidding, they shouldn't be allowed to call timeout 3 times to ice the kicker. That was absurd! And pointless. eat that Lovie. They get the ball 1st in the 2nd half.

Horni has to learn when to throw the ball away.

Re: Bucky @ Lovie's Illini - 11am CDT on ESPN - GDT
Hornibrook is just not a very good QB right now. Maybe he will get better but we are fortunate to have a really good D and playing against crappy opponents.

The BSPN guys negativity is annoying. But, our play has been sloppy. Horni makes a good pass and it gets dropped. You gotta catch that when he makes the pass!

Pryor has to make that catch. With your best player on the bench, the other players have got to step up.

I am surprised Lovie didn't go for it. We need to get moving if we're going to cover the spread.

Attempting the FG really didn't make much sense there.

A couple of gift penalties there for the illini, whatever. Uninspiring win, they will have to play much better next week at Indiana

Very disappointing two touchdown win. I keep expecting this team to put it all together, but I'm not seeing it. Still, they did what they needed to do to win, 8-0, keeping the dream alive. Needs more tuba.

Hard to be too critical given they are 8-0 but they have a lot of room for improvement starting with the QB

Wins are good, but this did not look like a top 10 team Horni's INT was horrible. In addition, his receivers dropped a pile of catch-able balls. Grosheck should be the #2 RB. Shaw reminds me of the Packers version of Darrell Thompson. Defense is really, really good, just not as good as in the past couple years. Need the offense to have a greater impact, that means they have to complete some passes. Nice field goal by Gags. After making it he should be allowed, after all those time outs, to...

Tough to judge just how good they are given they haven't played anyone. It's very possible they could get to the BT Championship game undefeated and we still may not know how good they are.
