So GB won't be in St. L on 10/28 or DET on Thanksgiving. It's all coming together...

Other interesting note is that the Giants host the Pack again next year, leaving the only remaining chance of GB playing in the Thursday night Season Kickoff game. I could see that getting serious consideration if the Giants pull off another title.

What indicates that they won't be in Detroit on T'Day? Did I miss something obvious?

schedule doesn't look too bad.

toughest games: @ nyg; @houston; sf

i say 12-4, another division title and a home playoff game

nfc north:

pack 12-4
lions 11-5
bears 9-7
vikes 4-12

I'm going with a range of 13-3 to 11-5. It will be tough to repeat wins at Chicago, and at Det. Seattle is usually a nightmare for us on the road. We may have a home-stinker too.

Depends on the off-season and what TT does defensively.

Historically, the network with the AFC contract (currently CBS) and the network with the NFC contract (currently Fox) have alternated which teams they have on Thanksgiving. Since Detroit and Dallas are both NFC teams, whichever one ends up on the AFC network has had to host an AFC team on Thanksgiving. This past season, that was Miami @ Dallas. Next year, it would be an AFC South team at Detroit.

Well, the TV contract has been changed slightly, probably to allow CBS (which currently has the AFC contract) to have an NFC team @ Detroit on Thanksgiving
That's not a very tough schedule

Other than the home game against New Orleans and road games againts the NYG and maybe Houston and Detroit there aren't any other games on that list that jump out at you and you'd say they won't be favored (for sure)
