Wow, I thought they would lose this one.
JUST WIN BABY!!!

I think you're full of ****. Thoughts?
I kid!
Just a weird game overall.
I'll take it!

Agree. It's like he's putting English on the ball, almost like he's hitting it with the front of his foot and spinning it to the midstep. Weird. I wonder if Masthay is getting it stopped spinning before the kick.
McCarthy hi five'n and laughin as he leaves the field... he's damn lucky he got the win today

MM should have given Schwartz a Jim Habough pat on the back.
I'm starting to move into the we miss joe philbin camp...hope the o gets on track. Last years d would have lost that kind of game for us.

So the "fake" fake field goal made the Lions use a time out which ended up helping us.
+1. That turns out huge, because without that the Lions would have had well over a minute left when they got the ball back.
Way to shut Schwartz up. We play terrible and still pull it out. Kevin Greene, our DB coaches, and Capers deserve a lot of credit today. MM and Clement, not so much.
Oh, btw, does that count as an ARod 4th quarter comeback...
No, he's getting too close to Big Ben.

MM thinks we're a power running team now.

My wife would agree. Seriously though Henry, Crosby needs to see Tin Cup or something. He's completely lost it, not only mentally, but his mechanics must suck. His balls look weird. Yeah...I said it!!!
Gutsy win. Come on 49'ers!

He obviously thinks we are getting a Home playoff game, MM not dumb ...
and with that late field goal the Packers covered the spread. in the end, isn't that what really matters?

I say you start cutting off toes until he toughens up or it evens out that **** hook on his kicks.
Defense got this win. Ugly game for the offense, especially the offensive line. I'm sure McCarthy isn't happy.
Worked for the Saints with Tom Dempsy
It was Ugly but the job got done.

He almost did. Lifted Arod for a body slam but changed his mind at the last minute.
In a way I like this better than if they handed out a butt whooping where they might get lackadaisical in preparing for next week.quote:Originally posted by bubbleboy789:

I'm not sure why what he did wasn't a personal foul.
Personal foul for what - Picking him up and gently setting him down?? He didn't throw him to the ground.
Illegal Thoughts Of Destroying The QB - 15 yard penalty

The intent was there and he didn't just set him gently down. Rodgers was like a rag doll.
Speaking of, the call on Jones for roughing the QB was BS!!!
Don't ever put your arms up to try and block the pass and then brush the QB's helmet. 20K fine will be in the mail.
Yea, isn't that ridiculous?
Jones had 2 today right?
yep...had charles martin written all over it.quote:Originally posted by Pakrz:quote:Originally posted by Iowacheese:

Kid is dumdumer then a stump. Course he was honor roll at Auburn duh $ec can churn em out
In a practical sense the smartest thing he could have done there is to wreck Rodgers fine be damned. I'm not trying to endorse that kind of play, but if you're going to be a classless team you may as well go all the way. He'd have been fined and probably suspended but he would have given his team the best shot for the playoffs.
It's ironic that the one time someone on that team plays with restraint that it ends up costing them. Favre earned respect with defenders by the way he played the game. Fair to say Rodgers has done the same. Rodgers is sensitive (in a good way) about playing the game with respect and I think he gets it back from his opponents.

Guess I saw it differently. Don't think you can flag a guy for "intent".

Jones fined $15,750 for that sorry ass play. Silliness.
