You guys have a lot more intestinal fortitude than me. I stopped watching with the score 7-7 and the Falcons 1st and goal. I figured it was a foregone conclusion when a dome team, that struggled inside, was moving the ball pretty effortlessly against the Packers epically bad defense. And Matt Flynn is the Packers QB.

Still 4 more weeks to go before the page is officially turned.

Seriously, doesn't this fold job after losing your QB bring up some serious questions about your HC and GM? The recent drafts have been less than stellar, and MM seems lost without AR. Datone Jones? I haven't heard anything about him since camp. If you're going to "draft and develop", you HAVE to hit on your drafts and you HAVE to have the coaching staff to develop.

If you think how many plays AR makes on broken plays, you almost have to wonder how many of those plays were that great to begin with.

Lacy will be good to go in the 2nd half, mark it down! Tolzien may not be able to run he no huddle, but at least he has a much stronger arm, and his pocket presence can't possibly be any worse than Flynn's. McCarthy should consider just dumping the no huddle in order to take advantage of his arm and use a slow, plodding ball control style offense.

While the play has been abysmal, TT and MM aren't going anywhere.  That ship for the Farve lovers sailed after they won a Super Bowl, and one bad season isn't going to change that.  There likely are going to be changes on staff, DC and Special Teams most probable.

So, keep harping on TT and MM....the rest of us can focus on things that can or are likely to happen in the off season.

Capers is the #1 problem on this team (while they are talent-deficient on defense, they're nowhere near bottom of the league bad), but the offensive line isn't very good, the WRs are  over-rated and the play-calling on offense has been lacking at times. However, only a complete moron thinks McCarthy or Thompson need to go. Even if they totally bomb next year, they still probably deserve another shot in '15.

I was all for keeping Flynn as the starter after he fought back against Minnesota. Clearly he doesn't have the arm to be a functional QB, though. When opponents have the opportunity to gameplan against him, they aren't required to respect the deep ball. That's a serious problem.

I've come full circle on this...let Tolzien close the season out. Who cares if he throws too many picks...this season is lost. Let him take his lumps this month, and hopefully he shows progression in the offense. He has the skills to be a good backup QB.

I'm not saying they are or should go anywhere. But I think it's fair to hold them accountable for this mess. They get the credit when we win, they need to get some criticism when the team implodes.

What makes you say the WR's are over rated?   Nelson has been a bright spot.  I could see you saying that Jones looks medicore, but Nelson looks like a legit #1 with a crap QB.

You are going to "hold them accountable" how???  The only way you hold a Coach or GM "accountable" is to fire them.  Since that isn't going to happen, its a waste of time to talk about.

I guess by "hold accountable", I mean being able to question them on a football forum or in the press? Is that okay?

The first 100 times you post it, yeah.  Feel better now?
