Don't know how many more hits Vick is going to be able to take in this system.  Jamaal Charles probably has a big game tonight.  I think I'm going with the Chiefs here but it's going to take some points 31-28.

Eagles have lost 7 straight at home. They've lost 8 straight home games only once, from 1936-37

should be a fun nite. Since '11, Alex Smith is 21-5-1 as a starter. 34 TDs, 10 INTs

. Alex Smith has no INTs in 2013 & hasn’t thrown one since Week 7 of 2012, a stretch of 99 straight pass attempts without an INT

Just look for the small "x"s.  Don't download anything and don't touch the big "x"s in the corner of the box.

Too confusing and scary.

Thursday Football needs to go away except for Turkey day. And even then no games after 4pm.

If the NFL thinks games every Thursday night make sense then move the Super Bowl to Saturday night and don't piss me off with the Super Bowl is a Sunday tradition.

Thursday football each week is a sloppy mess begging for player injuries.

I know others may disagree, but I think the Niners will rue the day they shipped Smith off. He doesn't have a big arm, but he runs smart, makes few mistakes, doesn't try to force things. In that offense and on a team with that defense, he'll be a winner.

Take a look at the history of Thursday Night games.

You can count on one hand the "good" games that come on a Thursday Night during the season (I'm excluding Thanksgiving)

Because of the infrequent occurrences, Thursday night games used to be special, to the point I would watch even if the Packers weren't playing. Now, they are no longer special games and I don't watch unless GB is on.

I'm a little surprised the NFL Network can't get better match-ups for their game each week. Must be some language in the network TV contracts preventing them from getting better match-ups, but really, who knows how the teams will match up when the schedule is put together in the spring.

Lots of reasons for that

First, they offer the very best match-ups to the highest paying customers- the Networks.

And then they pimp up these somewhat- less-desirable games by airing them on Thursday. NFL wins by getting much better ratings for their Thursday gig than they would with those same games on a busy Sunday afternoon.

NFL network doesn't have enough viewers yet and the pissing matches with the cable giants hasn't helped them in that effort

As far as choosing who is good/bad- it doesn't matter much in the ratings world since the Packers/Steelers/Giants fans will tune in no matter what. They may not know who the "good" teams are each season, but they surely know who the good fanbases are year after year.

They also made it a point to give one Thursday game to every franchise, which helps from a competitive/ fairness point of view and also allows the Jags/Browns to have a national audience once a year. That's part of why some of the games aren't the premiere match-ups-  The NFL has to include all 32 franchises

Thursday Night Football is essentially the short bus of NFL broadcasts, but they get more cash with them than without

Indeed, that's usually a decent match-up.

One of the things the league does is try to use divisional match-ups because those teams already know each other, and on a short week, the prep is a bit easier and the travel distance is shorter.

This season 10/15 Thursday games are divisional games
