Seattle sports radio is insufferable out here. But I am afraid the Pack will do nothing to shut them up.
Matt Bowen:
I had the opportunity to watch Peppers back in training camp. The free-agent addition to the Packers defense looks leaner and still showcases that rare athletic ability rushing the passer or dropping into coverage.
On Thursday night, I want to see if the Packers limit the amount of snaps for the veteran and how he is utilized within Dom Capers’ sub-packages as a rush 'backer/defensive end.
The Packers defense is a faster unit with Peppers on the field, and I’m anxious to find out what type of impact he can have from a scheme/production standpoint versus the champs in Seattle.
Sal Paolantonio reports that the Seattle PD will have undercover officers in Packers jerseys tonight to maintain order.
Hopefully they can use this to throw off the fans.
All witnessed at one Jets game at the giant replica BOSE stereo that is Metlife Stadium:
3) A guy eating raw hot dogs out of a clear garbage bag with people around him chanting, "M-E-A-T-MEAT-MEAT-MEAT!" Those same people booed him when he decided he had enough uncooked hot dogs for one day (admittedly funny)
If you believe the writers and talking heads the Pack should just come home and not risk injury or worse, death. Seattle has Supernatural Powers. I really hope after 3 years the Packers are finally tough enough to smash the Seattle team in the mouth and break their will.
Unpossible to win in that stadium. Packers have no chance tonight.
Tonight we'll find out how tough the 2014 Packers are.
We'll also get some idea as to how effective the retooling of the defense was. I think the media coverage for the most part has been fair. Seattle is coming off a convincing SB win, widely viewed as the best team in the league and has a 17-1 record at home since Wilson took over. It's not a surprise the game is viewed as a heavy lift for the Packers.
Seahawks’ secondary will be tested by tonight’s officials

If the Seahawks’ physical secondary is going to struggle with the NFL’s renewed emphasis on illegal contact, defensive holding and pass interference, we’ll see it tonight.
Sal Paolantonio of ESPN reports that tonight’s referee is John Parry. That’s significant because Parry’s crew called the most defensive holding and pass interference penalties of any officiating crew during the preseason. Parry’s crew also tied for the most defensive holding and pass interference calls of any officiating crew during the 2013 regular season
.
So if there’s any officiating crew that’s going to force the Seahawks out of their physical — and successful — ways, it’s probably Parry’s crew.

So if there’s any officiating crew that’s going to collectively break a hip, it’s probably Parry’s crew.
Great post.
Yeah, who here remembers that game the Packers played at the Kingdome back in 1996? Finding a Seahawks fan in the crowd was like playing Where's Waldo. Four of their first nine games at their stadium (Home of the "12th Man") were blacked out on local TV, and there were plenty of blackouts during their years at the Kingdome and Husky Stadium.
Rodgers and his WRs are going to be working that like crazy. They're going to try and draw flags as often as possible.
Awww....you guys just ruined the surprise.
Lotta laundry on the field tonight....Pete Carroll is going to pull his hair out.
My friend in Vegas has lost his last 20 sports bets.
Yes, he put money on Seattle on the moneyline tonight!! (He's a huge Packer fan)
WE WIN!!
"We want the ball and we're gonna score!"
And Rusty wants to have relations with a real live lady. Easy there, Fedyaya.
Goalline, I never did tell you how comfy your bed sheets were.

So that was you?
First play, play action fake to Lacy, Rodgers deep ball to Nelson for a 82yd TOUCHDOWN!

I'm hopeful we start at the 30-35 yard line not the 18.
No, this was after a Seattle punt. The opening kickoff went for a touchdown. Get with the program, Boris.

I was at that game in '96 and there were way more packer fans than seattle fans, even the tailgating was primarily packer fans
Was there as well. Chants of "Reggie...Reggie...and so many Go Pack Go chants they had to blast music to try and stop the embarrassment.

Vegas already knows this when they make the line. That said, +6 is looking really tempting.
