The Bears are looking poised to be a team fighting for the worst record in the NFL this season. Fans don't even get the excitement of seeing their high 1st round pick in action with White likely done for the year

High draft pick QB next spring.

Whoa, I think you've just solved the Bears offensive woes. Move the teams CBs onto offense .

And make them wear different color jerseys than the rest of the offense.

I think the 1st Packer WR cut will be signed by  da Bears before da Queens can sign him.

Jeremiah Ratliff suspended 1st 3 games of the season for an earlier DUI the NFL announced. So appearently all appeals have been exhausted. That hurts an already bad D and evens things up a bit for the Packs D loss for the 1st game.

The sad state of QB in the NFL: How many QBS are clearly better than Cutler?

Answer: not many.

Based on physical skills or leadership and mental stability?

Yes. Cutler is as physically talented as anyone, leadership is completely nebulous and mentally he's a honey badger. There is a dearth of great QBs in the league, and soon to be worse with Brady, Manning and Brees about done.

Is Cutler really that much worse than guys like (and including) Romo, Eli and Rivers?

I would say yes, but because of the severe personality issues.  Those problems can sink an otherwise talented team.
