I think McCarthy DOES have confidence in Hundley because he’s giving him those hard throws. He’s letting him run the game plan, which he should, BUT he does need to do a better job helping the OL and getting Hundley in rhythm. The Vikings have no fear and that makes everything harder regardless of gameplan intent.

Hundley is definitely the man and things will look much different next week.  A little disconcerting that MM was so unprepared for Rodgers not playing, but is what it is.  If OL gets healthy, he'll look much better.  He's actually had a few really good throws.

No you don't sign anyone or trade for anyone, you go with what you have at QB.  Hundley is playing behind a line missing the LT, RT and LG for most of the game.  They are playing one of the best defense in the league and are only down 13.  If the defense was better then maybe you try to do a quick fix but IMO this is not the time.  If we win a few games great, but the benefits are Hundley get experience and we see if he really is a backup,  you get a much better draft pick and with any luck Capers is finally exposed as the bad DC that he is and we get fresh blood.  Your not tanking the season, we went into the season believing that Hundley could step in.  He needs to get the chance to proof what he can be.

You don't want to blame players for getting injured. Fans are constantly admonished not to blame the Packers medical staff. But even with "every team has injuries" disclaimer the Packers are ridiculous season in and season out.

Huntley will get better as they alter the gameplans for him. The defense won't.

If they get some of their injured guys back they will.

The Packers  best players are Rodgers, CM 3, Daniels, Nelson, Adams, Bak, Burnett, Dix, Bulaga, Cobb, Adams, L. Taylor, Monty, King

thats 14 guys. 12 of them have missed at least parts of games with significant inuries.

Relax, everybody. Hundley's gaining some confidence. Making some good throws. Give him a week with the first team offense (whoever can get out of bed to play), see if we can't get a win against the Saints, somehow, and head into the bye to get healthy.

4-3 worst case, 5-2 best case....season's not over. The offensive line HAS to get healthy though.

Hundley has some ability, we will now find out how much, if he can stay healthy.

But what about bringing in Kaep as a backup to Hundley?  If Rodgers is out all season, no way Joe Callahan is ready to be a #2 in this league.

Hopefully we will never be that hard up. There are somethings in life more important than winning football games.

Not for an NFL team. It's what everyone gets paid to do.I don't believe they'll sign Kapernick to be a #2 QB.

Could be a lot of 'indecent exposure' in Green Bay if this season becomes a disaster. There is an east coast team that lost their 12 and really didn't miss a beat. Not saying that a whole season with Hundley should be a Super Bowl, but if TT is who many think he is, they should be able to be very competitive the rest of the year.

I don’t know that Ty was fully ready to play in this game.

Does not matter what you or I or anyone else knew about Ty's health.

Mike McCarthy knew his health and used him extensively throughout the game. Montgomery did next to nothing. Other than drop an easy TD.

It takes a healthy guy to drop a sure TD  pass 3 times
