Why not just throw to the sticks? Yikes.
His name is Brett after all.
I'm just too fukking old to go back to boring, uninspired Packer football.
Add in a dose of awful violence, politics I don't care to hear about, money grabs at every turn by the FUNFL....
..I'm re-evaluating how I spend 12 hours every Sunday....I really am.
Incompetent from top to bottom. I don't want to rag on Hundley too much. But he's been here. He's in the system. He's got to play better than that and fast.
McCarthy doesn't have any margin for making his basic mistakes. Dom sucks. Everyone knows it. Enough. Time to retire.
The one kickoff return results in a triple-flag ****fest of a hold.
New Orleans didn't play well. They really didn't. The Packers aren't going to beat anyone playing like this.
The D played well enough to win?
lowrey wants to get in take a shower
Domfense truly exposed when you donβt have #12 to bail your asses out.
Hundley will get better. The season isnβt over, thereβs a lot of football to go.
MichiganPacker2 posted:Christ. Shut up about their defense. Hundley has looked terrible on anything other than short dumpoffs.
I agree!!! This whole team is abysmal
....and what fukking language does Jerome Boger speak?
Normally you give up 26 and you have a shot.

If you count giving up over 500 yards, yep.
We saw this crap show, the last time arod went down.

Ebonics....bigly
New Orleans is going to have about 500 yards of offense. Not sure what qualifies that as good D unless it's the CFL or arena league.

And we still made the playoffs. Do enough to get to the playoffs, thatβs all we need Hundley to do. You get to the playoffs and you at least have a chance.

Lot of football to go, scary words with Domsday Defense.
I prefer to revel in the first half. The second half never happened. That's all I have to say about that.
Not ready to give up on Hundley, but I am with Dommy
Hundley: 12-23, 87 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 39.9 rating.
As long as Dom is fired at year end this year isnβt a loss.

Hundley did enough to get the win. Defense did what it always does.
I have seriously underestimated how much 12 means to this team. It's not really fair to Hundley either. They have not set these guys up for success on D.

To think some of you people β’ used to complain about the Packers when we had Favre and Rodgers.....now you're really gonna be happy.
31for 59, 244 yards, 1 TD and 4 Int.
Those are Hundley's numbers over a decent sample size for two games. And Jones had a great game running the ball today.
I didn't expect a win, but I thought that Hundley would at least look competent. He was terrible. A very disappointing performance. Might as well run some read option with him.
Defense actually played better than I expected and the offense much worse.
Edit: Passing offense, very pleased with Jones.

Said it before, no AR falling to TT and he'd be long gone.
17 points isnβt enough to win. Neither point total was acceptable. Itβs a team loss.
All kidding aside, I was hoping for more, from all. Hundley, MM, Dom, the whole bunch except for Jones is pretty pedestrian.

Unless there is a miracle and the team magically starts winning, may as well just can McCarthy too. Why not? He's the idiot who keeps bringing Capers back.
So glad this team had their best week of practice. Shot their wad during the week!!

I agree. The concussion stuff bothers me to begin with, but I don't want to go back to watching a QB in the mold of Randy Wright/David Whitehurst/Dilweg/Tomczak and of course the immortal Blair Kiel

Anthony Barr was the NO MVP today. If this is Rodgers this is a win.

Big deal if he is, too late, way too late.

He did??? What exactly did Hundley do that would be considered "enough"??

And this why the Packers may never see another super bowl, MM is to hell bent on showing the NFL how smart he is, and not see what the rest of the NFL sees

Saints scored on every second half possession. Other than that the D looked good.
The defense didn't make one stop in the second half. Yes the offense should have played better but they got them the lead at 17-16 but Dom and this D wilted yet again. It's happened far too often and enough is enough. Dom needs to go.

It would only be about 5 or 6 years after it should have happened.
