Another thing worth mentioning- the Packers have outscored opponents 90-36  in the second halves of 6 games this season. They’re making adjustments and finishing. If not for a blown call against ATL, who knows- they could be 5-0.

But 4-1 isn’t where you thought they’d be. They could be 5-0. Maybe worse. Anything else?

Bennett finally caught a pass downfield. Not sure how excited we should be about Aaron Jones?

This is stupid. It’s monumentally stupid. Do you actually watch the Packers?

Didn’t think they’d be 4-1. So where did you think they’d be? Amazing.

every game fuc*head. I’ll assume you missed the 3 yards and a cloud of drops that Bennett has been this far? If you’ve been watching the games and all. I’ll also assume that you missed the 100 yard games of the following players in your illustrious lifetime of watching the Packers:

Terrell Middleton

Jesse Clark

Mike Meade

Harlan Huckleby

Keith Woodside

Travis Jervey

Najeh Davenport

Samkon Gado

Deshaun Wynn

Yes, let’s get another boner over a 100 yard game by a Packer running back! They’re the next... whatever... Brent Fullwood!!! If you’re looking for monumentally stupid, you can start by mocking a β€œwait and see approach” on the latest in the Packers’ pantheon of running backs who had a good game.

And yes, I did not think this team was a 4-1 team at this stage-  had both ATL and DAL in my mind as losses. Glad they won today. You’re a fuc*ing moron. The sun rises tomorrow.

Bennett is the best TE in GB since 2009. If Aaron Jones fell into more carries because of injuries he’s grabbing that job by the balls. But he’s been the best RB in GB for two months now.

And Music you can can eat **** with your 100 yard benchmark. But it ain’t surprising how you think. That’s how you see success at RB. And TE. In this offense. It’s so you.

Apparently reading for you is difficult. I was complimentary of what he did- suddenly I’m stupid for reserving universal exaltation and tickets to his Canton induction for this RB? I mentioned I would love to put Monty back outside- this doesn’t translate to you that I’m saying β€œI would be happy if he played this well going forward and took over the starting job”? And I’m the idiot?

Bennett has underperformed because he has dropped passes and killed drives. That’s not why he’s here. He’s been a solid blocker, but that’s not why he’s here. The leaping catch today was spectacular- we need more of that. That’s why he’s here. There were a couple solid chains moving plays- that’s why he’s here. If he played every game like today I’d say he’s been excellent. But he hasn’t. So I won’t.

Bennett is slowly building a decent resume in GB. Hard to do when you're 1 of 6 targets.

Jones looked good last week coming off the bench, followed it up with a star showing today. He's the real deal.

I think the biggest thing he does that Monty struggles with is the decisiveness. Monty seems to either run for 15 or 2, but it’s because when he sees a hole he either times it perfectly or he waits too long to hit it resulting in the hole disappearing. Jones, probably because he’s an experienced RB, knows to take his opportunity when it comes and hit it hard and fast. His cuts are very quick also. I dont want to anoint him as anything right now, because Dallas’s run D stinks, but he reminded me of watching Ahman Green with some of those runs yesterday. He needs to get stronger like Ahman, but man his running was beautiful.

Saw on Mike and Mike this morning, that the Packers have a plus 112 point diff.  in the 4th quarter this season.

MM overall coached a good game, but chasing points with 9:56 left was a mistake.

So many positives for this game, including MM's excellent coaching, but I could not agree more on this.  If the Pack makes the point after, Dallas has to make a 2 point conversion to force a Packer FG to only tie.

Having a FG be enough to win a game on the final drive is usually HUGE.

I was thinking the same thing. Wonder if he is a fan of Batman? Anyway, big positive is the OL and how it is performing with all the injuries. I will also give 12 some credit for putting them in the position to succeed. I have been critical if him holding the ball too long for the 'big play' and creating sacks but he seems to be using this ability to help his line more than hurt. With all these injuries, the past couple of games have been really impressive.

Was this actually a mistake? I thought there was some formula for these decisions. I was hoping Aikman would address this...

I think Taylor stayed at LT the entire game. I know he was there on the last two TD drives for sure (saw him in the highlights). Taylor is this generations Mark Tauscher...unimpressive looking, but completely reliable wherever you need him.

I cannot say enough about how impressed I am by Lane Taylor, and Justin McCray as well, playing multiple positions on the line over the last three weeks. They made it look easy. A few hiccups to be sure, but overall they were there when we needed them. This is also a sign of some decent coaching. TO have these guys ready to plug and play into the O Line every week, is amazing. I'm glad we can afford to let Bakh heal up as I feel pretty comfortable with Taylor and McCray filling in. I love the grit of this team!

Positives: ARod! The gritiest QB ever!; Aaron Jones, a green and gold gritty RB going forward! Jones out rushed Zeke in this game; Davante Adams! Coming off the mini bye and a concussion to play like he did! Grit!; Our plug and play O Line! More grit!; Bennett and Kendricks playing well!; Randall making up for some of last game's pettiness with a Pick 6!; Janis outgunning Dallas defenders to nail Switzer deep in Dallas territory!; MM's play calling! Blake Martinez having a career day, again! Our run defense early on was pretty decent!

Negatives: Our inability to get to Prescott; Long Snapper issues; Injuries to King and maybe Jordy?; Refs poor call on Martinez in the end zone; Not getting to rename ATT Stadium "Mr. Rodgers' Neighborhood!"

It's much smarter to run from points.

I like it. Why is it always framed as "chasing" points instead of more positively as showing confidence in your offense? Rodgers missed a wide open Nelson yesterday on a throw he usually makes 999 times out of a 1000.

I've never understood why teams don't for 2 more. I believe I read somewhere where NFL teams have converted about 48% of the conversions since they instituted the 2 point option. The XP% used to be over 99%, but moving it back a couple of years ago dropped this to about 94% in 2015 (the last year I could easily find stats from).

If you went for two every time (except for late in games when an XP puts you up by 4, 9, or 17), you'd come out ahead over the long haul. And that's with a league average QB.

Aaron Rodgers going 1 for 2 on a two plays from the two yard line is a pretty good bet. If you have a QB with mobility (Prescott, Rodgers, Newton, Alex Smith, etc.) spreading the field at the 2 puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

In cold or bad weather games where the longer XP conversion percentage drops even more, teams should be even more aggressive going for 2.

Jones runs downhill and gets the 2-3 extra yards every carry that good backs do. He brings a whole new dimension to their offense.

However, I don't see Ahman Green in him. I think sometimes we don't appreciate how good Green was. Ahman Green was a HOF-level RB, other than ball security at times he was a better version of Ezekiel Elliott. He had a 5 year stretch where he gained 7000 yards on the ground, 8200 total yards, and scored 61 total TDs. He got the tough yards running downhill, but what made him probably the best RB the Packers have had since the Lombardi years was the he ran a sub 4.3 40 (probably closer to 4.2). If Ahman got into the second level he was often taking it to the house. Jones ran a 4.56 which is in the range of a younger versions Ryan Grant or James Starks.

If Jones is as good as Grant and Starks in their primes, I'll take it. Monty is already a better version of Brandon Jackson (third down back who could catch passes out of the backfield and was good in pass protection). Ryan Grant and Brandon Jackson were more than good enough to win a Super Bowl with in 2010.

There is no ****ing way you can say anything negative about MM and this staff for being 4-1 with the injuries that have happened and the constant shuffling of personnel.

Again. It does appear that everyone is all in right now. But the coaching has been crazy supreme.

If after five games, some basketball player is 49/50 at the FT line and supposing his one miss was a whopper of a clunker, two things are true.

1) The guy is performing light's out as a FT shooter.

2) That one free throw was really crappy.

(hope that helps)
