They will take both and move up to 3 for Q
. I will pass on "meating" Henry whatever that means.
Can I cock Henry for meattails instead?
12 - Hockenson
16 - Trade up for Burns
12. Christian Wilkins DT Clemson
30. Chris Lindstrom OT/OG Boston College
Wilkins will generate a strong pass rush...from the inside and lock down our 3 technique for 8 years.
Lindstrom brings flexibility on OL and comes from ZBS scheme.
BPA.
I have met Henry for cocktails.
Appropriate term.

If they stay there, Devin white at 12 risner at 30
Hockenson at 12.
Josh Jacobs at 30.

30 - Nasir Adderly

White will be gone.
12 - Montez Sweat or Dalton Risner
30 - will trade back, out of first round since there are not 30 players with first round talent.
It looks like 14 or 15 blue-chip players? Seems to be the consensus bored.
Unless they get a Whopper of a deal I highly doubt they'll trade down from 12.
Round 1 - 1st pick (Josh Allen) Don't ask me how, call it a hunch.
If they draft J.A. not sure when they're drafting next so I'll stop right there.
First three picks will be...
Ford
Fant
Samuel

That's not counting the QBs that could go higher than 20. I think there is still one or two blue chippers at 20 if that happens. Could trade up to get one.

12) Dillard if all the DL picks are gone. I Am Garp didn't seem concerned about drafting Madison from the same program even though run blocking may be a question.
30) Kyler Murray. It'll happen. The Darren Sproles of QBs.

Happy Easter everybody, only four days to go till the draft.
No pretty boys on my team, just a couple of fat-bottom, big hitters
( 12 ) Jawaan Taylor offensive tackle, Florida 6'5 310 lbs Junior
( 30 ) Dexter Lawrence DT Clemson 6'4 a smokin 340 lbs Junior
my mom would love to have you Henry
With that Grand Prize I'm going with the consensus Mr. Irrelevant at #12 & the guy right before the consensus Mr. Irrelevant for #30.
#12 Devin Bush- prefer Burns but ILB position drops big time after the Devins
#30 Darnell Savage
Slobs. Early. Late and in between.
GB needs to take advantage of a deep OL draft and restock the future.
And completely **** drafting a QB. Letâs let the new guy figure out if he can make anything out of the QB Room guru leftovers.

I'm guessing no.
Waiver wire pickups.
#12 Risner or Jonah Williams
#30 Devin Bush
OT or DT early, then OT or DT right after, then WR or S.
Think they'll focus on the OL and address the hole at TE later (not before 44).
Jawaan Taylor
Noah Fant
12: Jonah Williams
30: Dexter Lawrence
Gute solidifies the trenches. Wouldnât rule out a trade up FROM 44 back into the end of R1 for a guy like Juan Thornhill. 32 seems like a possible spot since they are looking to move back every year.

Helmet Hair sez we take Boston College OG/OT Lindstrom at #12 FWIW...
There are going to be some quality OL there for GB to take. Taking one isn't sexy, but it makes complete sense when you have the best player in the NFL in the backfield and the new coach says he wants to run the ball.
Taylor, Dillard, Risner, Ford and Lindstrom are all in play at 12 I think. If several of them are there, trade back a few spots and snag an extra pick.
With all of that said, there's one player that I can't get out of my head. TJ Hockenson makes a ton of sense. He is fast enough to cause problems down the seam and he is a very good blocker that helps out in the running game. If he is there at 12, which I doubt he will be, its gonna be tough to pass on him. I think he's going to be one hell of a NFL player.
I think the Jags are gonna take Hock to get Foles a new toy.
#12 Christian Wilkins DT Tremendous character plus really good player, Packer People. Option 2 Clelin Ferrell, Edge
#30 Deebo Samuel WR, perfect for the slot. Option 2 One of the Iowa TE's if they mysteriously fall.
Round 2, #44, Best OL available, preferably a RT or guy who can do both G or RT.
Round 3 best free safety available after that TE
If GB drafts Wilkins, Bush, Wilkins, or Ferrell with Jonah Williams, Dillard, or Taylor on the board Iâm gonna be pissed.
Pakrz posted:Taylor, Dillard, Risner, Ford and Lindstrom are all in play at 12 I think.
I don't think so. I can't see them drafting a guy at 12 like Lindstrom who can't play tackle .... guard isn't a big need any more. They are pretty deep with Turner, Taylor, Madison, and McCray.

TAylor and Mcray? The were horrible last year. And who know what Madison has to offer after beign away for a year. Guard/Tackle is a huge need.

Never said Tackle wasn't a need !! It obviously is.
Billy Turner and Lane Taylor will be the likely starters at guard. Big investment in Turner. Taylor is a good player who struggled due to injury last year. Turner, Taylor, Madison, McCray....and don't forget Saragusa !!! I don't see a big need at guard, especially early which is the discussion.
Back to the point , if they take a OL at 12 it's going to be a guy that's either a tackle and/or is versatile ....can play tackle and guard. That's not Lindstrom.
They will not take a TE.
12 Montez Sweat - Edge
30 N'Keal Harry - WR
If Ed Oliver drops to 12 I'd take him in a heartbeat.

So how many times next weekend will we have our annual tradition of the Packers pick being in and they go to or are in commercial? Or they don't even mention the pick and move on to the Cowboys, Patriots etc.?

Hallmark Channel has much better coverage. And less commercials.
Saw an interesting scenario on Twitter where Texans trade up to 12 from 23 to take one of the top Tackles Dillard or Jonah. To me there is definitely a drop off from the second tier of R1 players and early 20âs feels a lot more palatable to take guys like Risner, Savage, etc. than 12 does and is more realistic than them lasting until 30. Packers would add at least another 1st rounder, if not more, in that scenario. I could live with another trade down if the drop off in talent isnât steep. If they pass on a top talent like Oliver to trade down or waste a pick on a QB then thatâs different, but passing on Jonah or Sweat to take a guy like Risner isnât a bad deal.
What round pick would you get for dropping down 11 spots?

I'm wondering if Washington will try to move up to 12, ahead of Miami as both could be looking for QBs. Might net GB an extra third rounder to drop 3 spots.

Not even when they traded up to get BJ Sander?
I punted the dog.
Calmly.
At least you were active.
I'm starting to see quite a few mocks with Devin Bush going to GB at 12.
If it gets down to Devin Bush at 12 itâs time to trade down 4-5 spots. Pick up an extra 2nd rounder and do something like Fant and Risner in Rd1.
Wild assed draft prediction. Arizona is either picking Quinnen Williams or trading the #1 pick to Oakland who will select Kyler Murray.
YATittle posted:What round pick would you get for dropping down 11 spots?
Thereâs a 440 point difference. So my guess is GB would ask for Texanâs 1st, one of their 2nds, and maybe swap 3rds.
i wouldnât do it.

I have been seeing that exact scenario a few times now with the Redskins moving up in a trade with the Packers. Why would this be a good thing? Daniel Snyderbrenner is one thing and that is he is to impulsive and I think the Packers could take advantage of that.
Packers trade back for an extra third and come out of Day 2 with:
Noah Fant, Juan Thornhill, Deebo Samuel, Max Crosby and Isaiah Johnson.
YATittle posted:What round pick would you get for dropping down 11 spots?
Guess it depends on how badly the teams want to move up/back. New Orleans gave us a 1st to move up 13 spots last year, but GB only gave up a 3rd to move up 9 spots. Depends on the year of the pick, I think the rule of thumb is that future picks are worth a round less, so whatever would take a 2nd rounder in 2019 is the same is a 2020 1st rounder.
I predict the first pick will go all Bruce Clark on us and decide he'd rather play in Canada than Green Bay. But if he doesn't go to Canada, I'll say the guy they get is Devin Bush.

I think ABCs coverage is going to be more of an entertainment event than just a helmet hair pontification of the players. I guess the main cast is also going to be the ESPN college game day crew. I might watch that as something different.

NE picked N'Keal Harry with the last pick of Round 1. Tall WR who can go up to get the ball. Do you think they will go for Isabella later on with Harry in their fold?
I would think this means they pass on Isabella, however, Fatty Weiss was adamant this AM that NE is in love with him and will take him with one of their 2nd or 3rd round multiple picks. I am skeptical.

A lot of Rosen's problems last season stemmed from bad protection from the Arizona O Line. He has a good arm and could be really good in Miami if Miami gives him the protection he needs. Here's to the Dolphins kicking NE butt this season!
I say we walk away today with another linebacker, a runningback, a fatboy and a a fatboy and call it a day. We get a nice WR as an UDFA.
