Or, he was waived by the Seahawks and Green Bay was the first team in the pecking order to put in a claim, so he was awarded to them. I mean, a couple more weeks of a paycheck, right?

One of the two.

I believe Harrison asked for and was granted a release. His PT was limited with almost 0% chance of increasing due to some youth. They may have been willing due to concerns of a bad attitude with the limited snaps, but nothing has been reported.

Slippery Pete was on his ass about conditioning from the moment he arrived and as you noted, as soon as the young DT was ready, Snacks playing time plummeted and it wasn't gonna change.

Harrison said he totally understood and wouldn't want to take snaps from a young ascending player. All good. No animosity, just bizness

And the added bonus is that the Seachumps paid him while he got in shape and GB was only on the hook for one weeks' salary. At this point, all the playoff money comes from the League so GB probably spent about $60k for his services for the rest of this season.

I hope Harrison gets a chance to land his ample arse on Wilson's smug mug and farts out some nanobubbles to clear up Russ' concussion.

Andre the Giant vs. The Iron Shiek 2.0!!!!

While he didn’t play much you can see the potential impact Harrison can have shutting down the run.  Big man flashes ability for sure.

Could turn into a very solid move for the Packers coming into the playoffs.

Not sure who is keeping track of best posts of the year but I nominate Satori’s take as #1.  Although, coke snorting Hank could challenge it.

Didn't he also coin the epic phrase,"Fuck you, pakrz."?

Gutey already making moves for 2021. Anyone heard of these guys?

WR Chris Blair (Alcorn State), S Innis Gaines (TCU) and LB Ray Wilborn (Ball State)

I haven't.  But the last guy the Packers got from Alcorn State worked out pretty well.  His name was WR Donald Driver.  We have a TCU safety on the roster - Vernon Scott.  The last Ball State LB GB had was Keith McKenzie - didn't work out so well.  As future-reserve signings they will be on the 2021 roster once the new team year starts.

Funny. Yet I wonder if he could be available for special teams? They don’t look too good right now. We have been calling up PS players to play teams and it has not looked good. Three game rental?

Keith McKenzie was not (edited)so bad. Good special team player.  Ran almost stride for stride with Desmond Howard on his Super Bowl kickoff return TD.  Now Mike McKenzie was a good player but a turd of a team mate.

Damn, what's with the Keith McKenzie hate around here?  He was a 7th round pick who far exceeded his draft status.  He was solid rotational pass rusher for a Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl runner up.  I believe he did end up with a 2nd contract that was probably too much for a rotational guy, but he when he was a role player, he was solid at it.

Yeah, Scott and Gaines did play together. Could be another Tunyan Duffner combo!

No hate fightphoe93, just perception.  Yes, a 7th round draft pick.  But in GBs 1996 SB year he had 6 combined tackles (solo and assisted) and 1 sack - in fact he had similar stats in his first 2 years.  He did better his 3rd and 4th years in GB.  I included the link to his stats.  Assuming his rookie deal was for 4 years, Cleveland signed him for his second deal.  Anyway, just noting one Ball State player we had at LB as a way of gaging what may be expected of another.  I understand this new guy could be very good.  But this is what us fans do.

Packers bring in former Chief 2nd round draft pick for a workout.   Breeland Speaks, a 6-3 285 lbs. edge was drafted by K C in 2018, spent 2019 on IR and was on the Raiders and Cowboys practice squads this season.  His contract expired on Jan 11 so the Packers had him in.   He could be signed to a futures contract but could also be active if the Packers play in the NFC Championship game.

2 huge names in the game. Can't blame 'em. Both looked "old" too many times this year..
