Good sign, that's for sure.

Easy to forget he missed the first year of Mayo's tenure.  He was playing like a rookie the first half of this season.  If he's turning the corner I think he can stand in as #3.

If I was a bears fan, every time I looked at, or even thought about this, I would drive to Halas Hall and I would burn it to the ground. Then I would salt the earth it sat upon so nothing could ever grow in its place.

There wouldn't be a jury in Chicago that would convict me.

It's getting more difficult to recall the Gory Years, when we were desperately floundering for a QB every year. EVERYBODY we drafted was terrible... or worse.
But I can't ever forget that, and pray to St. Vince that NEVER happens again.

It's really tough to blow that pick. Look at those names. And somehow, the Bears did.

Every score from the Bears tonight can be attributed to Kirksey.

  1. The long run run that led to 3, he was unblocked on play side.
  2. The TD before the half, he committed PI on 3rd down.
  3. He was in coverage on this 4th Q TouchDown.

And Solomon Thomas hasn't been spectacular either but God Damn the draft capital they gave up.....To this day I still don't get it. It won't be much longer until Pace/Nagy are gone too -- Can't see them lasting much more than another year or 2 max?
