Thatβs like the NBA taking a strong social justice stance...and then telling their players they canβt talk about Hong Kong.

How is it like that? For this to be hypocrisy akin to the NBA's china policy, players/coaches/execs would have to be preaching openness with the media. The opposite happens. They feed the media bullshit to distract from questions they don't want to answer and in a lot of cases just don't answer questions.
All done for the day, one hour and 23 minutes practice,
everything from Aug 19

You are correct. But never interrupt me in the middle of a good rant with the facts.
@Coach LaFleur presser
Matt LaFleur said he's been impressed with WR Equanimeous St. Brown: "He knows our playbook inside and out. He knows the finer details ... He's a long guy that's got a really nice catch radius and he has good speed."
Matt LaFleur on his new middle linebacker: "I've been super impressed with Christian. He's a pro's pro. He's been on top of his assignments and directing traffic out there."
A Christian and a Saint are making good impressions.
Do they have practice in the afternoon?? 1 hour and 23 minutes?? Thatβs it for their morning practice??
The Packers are practicing inside Lambeau Field tomorrow after using the regular training camp field for the first four practices. It will be a "typical practice," said Matt LaFleur. They're going to do it two other times... https://t.co/HXOt61K3uL pic.twitter.com/1TBhFu3sxB

Was he climbing trees too?

I guess they decided that if they want to win like the Patriots, they should be jerks like the Patriots.
Some impressive one-on-one reps from #Packers TE Josiah Deguara. He leaked over Raven Greene, who was in good coverage, for a catch from Aaron Rodgers on the right sideline. Looked like a natural WR. Deguara also drew a blatant DPI against Greene on a double move in another rep.

So with no fans, can they pipe sound in during the regular season like the Queens did in the metro dump?

Allen Lazard got the better of his matchup against Jaire Alexander, including one reception where he leaped over Alexander, then won the ball in the air and held on when he landed. Lazard beat Alexander with an inside move on another route.

I saw a few futbol games where they were pumping in some crowd noise and showing live shots of fans on field level screens.
Can't speak to how it feels to the players, but the piped-in crowd noise on soccer broadcasts really is quite good for the viewing experience.
Now that the Gallagher Premiership Rugby has started back up again in the UK, they are using crown noise there too. The announcers said that the techs in the league spent the lockdown editing together the sounds from the previous season's games against the exact same opponents to make it as authentic as possible.
It wasn't as odd to hear as I thought it would be.
# 65 Lane Taylor presser
Lane Taylor says the switch to RG from LG has been very easy. βI got many more miles, many more years to play.β Taylor started all but 3 games for the Packers at LG from 2016-18. Now with Elgton Jenkins at LG, Taylor took a pay cut so he could compete to start on right side. @ mattschneidman
I'm just wondering what version of Lane Taylor we'll be getting. Right side of the line is a bit of a question mark at the moment. I'm not overly concerned but it's a reasonable question.
excellent question Henry from reddit, about the noise :
Coach Matt LaFleur confirms the noise at practice was the prototype ambient noise the NFL wants teams to use during games with no fans. He noted that it was loud enough in person that they had to use silent count.
practice time 1hour and 54 minutes
next practice August 22, 10:30 am
Will they also pipe in fake boos for obnoxious opponents?

The Packers should hire Gene Belcher for crowd noise.
For some reason I read the above as fake boobs at first. Must have been because of the Dr.

Rodgers coaching up Love.
DL/TE James Looney, 2 Others Released
Too bad for Looney, but obviously not a major blow to team.
WR Fulgham Released
No idea why the Packers went to the trouble of claiming Fulgham, unless he was damaged on arrival.
Dammit. I hope they got the shipping insurance.
That claim is more paperwork than a player contract.

What a stark contrast. Every motion Rodgers does is clean and precise while Love is a little Ebi Calvin. Another example of why I think most rookie QBs should sit during the regular season.
Rodgers uses his eyes vs. jumping around like a bunny rabbit.

I'm more concerned with how Turner does as RT than how Lane Taylor does at RG. We should soon see how much extra work Turner gives Taylor in the B gap on the right side.
Could be Wagner. If Taylor is playing like he did in 2017 then I'll feel better. Otherwise I'd be concerned about the house of cards scenario.
Good news is that Taylor and Linsley have been playing together for a while, so I feel comfortable their timing will be solid. Turner was off at times with Bulaga and Linsley last season and it led to some opportunities for the defense. I was hoping he would get to settle a little more into RG and shore up some of those issues. Turner at RT is more of a concern than Wagner IMO, but 1) they can scheme around that weakness if the other 4 are solid (which they will be) and 2) that's Rodgers front side, so he will see everything coming at him and can react.

Thatβs nice, but am asking if they only practice for a little more then hour when they do practice??? Thanks.
I'm assuming this is their "on-the-field" time only. They would still have meetings, weight room, etc., yes?
IMO, Tipa Galeai, Stanford Samuels, and Delontae Scott have been the three best undrafted free agents through the first week+ of camp.
