Rodgers scrambling looks weird.
Interesting call to kick. Letβs see how this plays out.
@MichiganPacker posted:Watkins, Lazard, Cobb, and Watson all out. That's their top WRs on the depth chart coming into training camp.
Cobb is past his prime by a few years, Lazard is an unproven player, and Watson is Mr. Injury. That's on Gute.

And this might have been the worst set of WRs 1-4 in the league before they got hurt.
55 YARD FG ATTEMPT. No good. Game over.

Even when all healthy thatβs a bad group.
Fitting end
Well, they covered the spread.
Well, that was better than I thought it would be
That is a fitting end
Like I said earlier, and a few weeks ago... Crosby doesn't really have the leg for over 50 yards anymore.

Crappy snap, but the holder got it down to give hi a chance.

Hard to judge that due to the bad snap.
How is it that every other team has a kicker that can blast it 65 yards and we're stuck with this noodle leg?
Well there was a couple positives
Diggs is still a twat

Poor snap.
Man, losing sucks!
Even if it is 'expected', it still sucks.
Well, let's see if this bitch will chug and sputter to Detoilet. Hope it makes it!
I feel better about the Packers now, more than I thought I would, coming into this game. They gave the Bills a fight.
Should have not settled for a 55 yard kick.
Let the rebuild officially begin. Hopefully front office people are gone before the bye.
@D J posted:The Packers would rather wait too long than be early with a player's end of career.
Rodgers?
Well thatβs it folks. Maybe we beat the Bears and Lions twice. Thatβs three more wins, maybe.

Okay, how about the 38 yarder and extra point that limped in low?
Bills are clearly a superior team and were playing at home after a bye. All I wanted to see was a competitive effort from the Packers and I saw that.

You must live in fantasy land
@NumberThree posted:Not if you look at their schedule.
Their schedule doesn't matter. Choking is part of their DNA.

They have a 4.5 game cushion, and our best-case scenario with our remaining schedule is 4-5 if everything goes right.

Except for the run defense.

Same here. That said, their run defense and just overall tackling is just so poor, the mediocre offense canβt overcome it.
We all expected this would be a run and defense oriented team. Tonight, the run game was good, but the run defense just isnβt good enough for the Pack to get where they want to go.
Packers dug themselves too big a hole in the first half. Defense continues to tackle poorly, lack discipline and is an overall major disappointment.
So does Gute pick up aWR by trade deadline or roll with what we got?
Hint: roll
Throw away draft picks so there are no draft picks to complain about?

Idk if I feel better, but I think I graduated from denial to acceptance. The 70s and 80s were filled with games where they would lose but at least make it respectable. So if they snuck past a team and won a game it would feel great. I think *maybe* this team was handed a dose of humility tonight, and not in a bad way.The previous 3 losses were embarrassing, but after tonight, no one at 1265 can rest on their laurels at all. They were soundly beaten by a far superior team. And it's time to look in the mirror and start evaluating the steps that will need to be taken going forward. That's as much silver lining as I'm able to come up with tonight.
@Maxi54 posted:I've never seen so many O-Lineman get completely run over and planted on their asses as the Packers line has this year.
That's where this team misses Turner and The Prince of Darkness Patrick Lucas. They didn't make every block but they were maulers that didn't get run over.
