It took two full seasons to figure out what was causing his repeated hamstring problems?

They’d better get it fixed this season because he’s been a waste of a roster spot for two seasons now.

Yes. And some never get fully resolved. NFL careers have ended because of hammy issues. Human medicine isn't as easy to figure out as you imagine.
That's why they call it a "practice" . You try some things; if they don't work, you try some different things. It takes time and effort to get at the root cause.
Jordy had similar hammy struggles and it took awhile to resolve them.

The art of hamstring maintenance has come a long ways in recent years - and the Packers new strength & conditioning coach, Aaron Hill,  trained under one of the more innovative guys out in SF.

Watson: 69 receptions, 1033 yards, 14 TDs, 15 yds/reception is a fine use of a roster spot. Looking forward to even more in '24

That's Bullshit.

You better go back and watch some tape with Aaron Rodgers and the Kansas City game with Jordan Love before you start talking about him being a " waste of a roster spot"

The entire training staff just got terminated. The new staff has clearly been tasked with fixing the hamstring problem..... And it seems they have found the source. So that's great news.

Let's revisit this post once Christian Watson has played an entire season

I will happily take back my disparaging remarks against Christian Watson if and when that ever happens.

I never said the kid doesn’t have talent, but he’s constantly injured….and it’s not just his hamstring.

"Well, the collaborating specialists found the source of the hamstring problem. That was the main issue with getting the proper plan in place for a solution.
Now, as I've shared before, it's not my place to share details. I'll let the Packers and/or Christian do that, should they decide to elaborate. However, with the source of the issue revealed, as long as the correct program is implemented and executed to rectify it, then this shouldn't be a recurring issue moving forward !"

Full speed ahead

He'll probably find another body part to give him repeated problems.

He's been in the league two years. That's pretty harsh. Were you one of the guys saying the same things about Davante Adams when I was defending Davante Adams??

Waste of a roster spot indeed.

Are you going to give him a chance or are you going to just write him off?

Hence a new Strength and Conditioning team in GB.

Disagree on a waste of a roster spot though.  Watson has what it takes to be a difference-maker at this level.

I hope and pray they get the hamstring thing solved because if they do we are going to have a playa that will shine for us. The sky will be the limit the next few years if this team keeps growing the way they are now. With Watson playing full time with all the other talent at  WR whoa , look out NFL. BTW I am a HUGE Christian Watson fan if you did not already know that.

PS: Sorry I have not been around so much for a while. Lifes a Beach!

Nope!  Davante had an ankle for most of his second season and he wouldn’t have played at all had there not been so many injuries to the other WRs. I never once complained about DA.

Watson has missed significant time over the last two seasons because of a bad knee, bad hamstring and a concussion.  I haven’t really complained about him either until today, but whatever.

I’ll give him a chance next season (not that anybody cares). If he stays healthy, I’ll happily admit I’m wrong. If he misses another eight games next season, then yeah, waste of a roster space.

The dirty little secret that no one is talking about is that they had Rodgers on the roster, who is not only a GM, but also a savvy medical expert, but they squandered his time in GB and then let him go.

Yeah, there is a deep and meaningful story behind every post I make.  I'll share a little more about that one day.

And there's something regrettable when you get ink like this with so much "deep meaning," and then you and the girl split.

Who has the most receiving TDs of the 2022 WR draft class ?

None other than Mr Waste of a Roster Spot   ( WOARS)

And then you can toss in an additional (2) rushing TDs to really seal the deal.

Man, I really hate it when an entire draft's position group sucks.
