In 2023 that flips to nearly $16M over the cap, so there is work to be done.

Brian Gutekunst says David Bakhtiari had another procedure this offseason after a setback in Detroit. He calls it a "very significant injury, much more than an ACL," but says there is no concern Bakhtiari will play again.

#Packers have Rasul Douglas in the slot with starting defense, but he’s getting perimeter reps on second team. Brian Gutekunst has said slot will be week to week. Might see a lot of Douglas in the slot, except vs. undersized, quick WRs. Jaire Alexander can handle those matchups.

Some folks are about to be pleasantly surprised by Lazard.

Some really good nuggets from day 1 of TC thanks to Andy Herman:
Notes from the locker room after practice:
- Per Ryan Wood – David Bakhtiari doesn’t have a timeline for his return, but he sounds optimistic about the recovery process from the torn ACL despite landing on PUP.
- “I do feel really good.” “I feel normal.”
- He added that it was his first time since tearing his ACL that his knee felt normal
- Per Ross Uglem – David Bakhtiari said his concern level was “low” with his current injury.
- Elgton Jenkins looked pretty good running around in the rehab group
- Allen Lazard had multiple impressive catches throughout the day and received the bulk of Rodgers’ first looks when he was in. He also made the play of the day with a leaping touchdown catch over Adrian Amos on a deep jump ball from Aaron Rodgers. Lazard held up through contact even after a tough landing and made the incredible catch.
- Tyler Goodson had a very impressive run in team drills, showing off great vision and even better burst. His cut up field was perfect.
- Rashan Gary absolutely beasted Royce Newman for a pressure on Rodgers but Rodgers through a beautiful deep ball to Juwann Winfree who hauled in the deep pass against Eric Stokes
- Romeo Doubs absolutely mossed Kabion Ento on a jump ball for another play of the day candidate. Doubs had a really impressive first day.

If LaFleur knew anything about ST, he would have known to can Drayton's ass halfway through last season, if not earlier.
