More like a broken va jay jay.
The Bears stand a good chance of winning like 5 or 6 games this year. And thatβs before they started losing players due to injury or potential trades (Roquan Smith).
They arenβt a good team by any stretch and Justin Fields is going to take a lot of hits and throw a lot of picks.

Fake account, but still funny

I got to admit, Hard Knocks from the Lions camp has been entertaining.
Colts release Jason Spriggs. Really has to be one of Ted's worst picks.
Justin Harrell will always hold the title of Ted's Worst.

Man, he's still around? Thought he would have exited the league a long time ago
TT traded up for Spriggs, I believe.
@PackLandVA posted:TT traded up for Spriggs, I believe.
Yep. TT gave up a 4th and a 7th to trade up 9 spots in the second round to take him.
I think they knew Spriggs was going to struggle for a while as soon as he had his first practice in training camp. However, a lot of OL struggle to adjust the first year or so and then get better. If anything, he seemed to get worse.
He made 7 million dollars in his career to take about 1200 NFL snaps.
The only bigger high round OL bust that TT had was D. Sherrod, and he was likely going to be at least an average player until the gruesome leg injury.

April 29, 2016: Traded by Colts as 2016 2nd round pick (48th overall) to Packers for 2016 2nd round pick (57th overall, T.J. Green), 2016 4th round pick (125th overall, Antonio Morrison) and 2016 7th round pick (248th overall, Austin Blythe)

That trade worked out kinda crazy
Antonio Morrison ended up playing in GB and Spriggs spent some time in Indy
And the team the Packers jumped in draft to land Spriggs , ( Da Bears) snagged Spriggs when we were done with him.
Morrison was later tossed off an airplane at Austin Straubel for failing to listen to the flight attendant and then saying: " Fuck you ! You don't own this plane"

And then the Bears ended up selecting OL Cody Whitehair. Whitehair has been pretty solid for the Bears and turns out to be the much better pick.
holy crap that looks awful
WHY ISNβT MY NFL NETWORK CARRYING THE CHIEFS VS CHICAGO GAME??? Itβs Bert Favorβs life. π‘ π‘ π‘ what the hell???
Anyone else experiencing a black out of the Chiefs/Bears game?? What the heck is going on?? My NFL network hasnβt carried 3 pre-season games.....iβm Assuming itβs because of blackouts?? Anyone else?? Damn it, and I donβt remember ever having blackouts before. π€¬
Jack Sanborn making a case he should be on the roster.
Pickens with a sweet catch for Pittsburgh, body blocking the d-back and showing good footwork in the corner of the end zone.
Should we trade for him?
Josh Jones still in the league, and still a terrible DB.
Jace Sternberger getting another chance, as well.
Ok, another questionβ¦..why are most offensive linemen white?? And Defensive linemen Black??? Curiousβ¦..and is that a racist question??
Elgton Jenkins is white now.
Goldie must not be smoking very good drugs if they make her racist.
Freebasing Ambien will do that to you, allegedly.
Kingsley Keke cut by the Cards and Kamal Martin cut by the Panthers.

I have them winning 6 games, this season. I think that was mighty generous of me.

Well, thatβs that for a former favorite of some fans.
Tavon Austin released by the Bills.
In 2020 Austin was in GB for 4 games. He had 5 catches for 20 yards. I looked this up and I don't remember any of them.
I just remember that Austin just wasnβt impressive in his short stint in Green Bay. At his size you need exceptional football speed. He just wasnβt fast or explosive enough at his size to be effective anymore. And he was never that special even when he was in his prime.

4 yards per catch is pretty forgettable.
JC Tretter announces his retirement.
With the Tyron Smith injury in Dallas, I wonder if @by_JBHβs suggestion of Royce Newman as possible trade bait becomes a reality sooner than anticipated.
β Peter Bukowski (@Peter_Bukowski) August 25, 2022
With Zach Tomβs emergence at tackle and Jake Hansonβs ascendence at guard, Newman may be a luxury worth dealing.
That would be awesome... He's serviceable, but the fact that we are hoping that other young guys beat him out tells you he isn't the long term answer. Get a 4th back for him and try again.
I'd miss the haircut for sure.
If that trade were to happen, he'd give TX a chance to win this title:

Dealing Newman would be a terrible move. I'm not sure he's a tackle though and why he would even be of interest to the Cowboys.

He definitely should. He's an amazing talent. He's also a very dirty player and should be disciplined for this.
