$ 6 M in earnings so far ain't bad. If he makes the team, that's another $1M
He probably added another 75 cents in endorsements
You'd have to work for more than a century at $ 65 K to equal his NFL earnings
Thanks, now I'm depressed.

Hicks has always been injured in recent years
Raiders trade Bryan Edwards to Atlanta for a 5th next year. Thatβs a deal Gutekunst probably should have been in on.

Go Bucs.
He obviously didnβt make the deal. They could use some experience and talent in the receiver room thatβs not old/often broken down. Edwards has number 2 talent.

60% of the time, it works every time.
Bills announced they signed veteran WR Tavon Austin to a one-year contract.

Well, that settles it; the Packers' season is DOOMED!
Maybe we should have a thread about what else to do on Sundays.
Who is Tavon Austin?

And he can make a few bucks at a local mall signing photos and talking about leading the Packers to an epic comeback win against the winless Browns in OT.
Zadarious already injured...
Is that from the onion?
That "precautionary thing" probably implies "back flaring up" again.
Anyone with a back injury knows how difficult even movement is under those conditions. Imagine having to do what Z does with that...

Pick one of these two options.
A - a 2023 draft pick from the Packers
B - a 2023 draft pick from the Falcons
The trade just made the Falcons Super Bowl favorites?

I agree. But remember this: as a convicted felon he wonβt be able to vote. So thereβs that.

Yet. I am sure that within a few years, the Prisons will have voting machines in their dorms.

They would have had to go a round higher (4th) maybe getting a 7 back, but he's a young guy with solid upside to be a solid #2. There weren't many available receivers who were priced decent and young(ish), but he was one of them. Robert Woods might have been worth a shot, depending on medical prognosis, otherwise it was just JuJu Smith-Schuster, Keelan Cole, DJ Chark, and Allen Robinson.
So if the Packers offer a 4th, they don't go back to the Falcons and see if they are still interested?
I know the Raiders are dumb but are they lazy, too?
The Falcons likely don't give up their 4th. Edwards fits the profile of receivers Gutekunst seems to favor, has some experience with upside and was available for a reasonable price.
Our favorite whipping boy Devin Funchess was signed by the Lions and converted to TE. If he couldn't stay healthy as a WR how in the hell is he going last as a TE?
Speaking of whipping boys, Mike Pennell signed by Bores.
Something tells me Funchess was getting no offers to play WR so his agent started floating a conversion to TE. Can't remember a player converting to TE after 7 seasons in the NFL as a WR. Only reason he has a shot to make the roster is because it's the Lions.
Sure appears to be an act of desperation from someone desiring to stay in the league. Certainly hasn't had the career I envisioned coming out of UM.

Being converted to TE is exactly what a lot of people want to see happen to Allen Lazard, in GB. I don't see that happening.
I hope he converts into a reliable, consistent WR.
