Also, old new but the Bucs will most likely be without starting C Ryan Jensen. Jensen retired after making his first Pro Bowl last season, but after TB un-retired, Jensen re-signed with the Bucs. Torn up his knee.

How are the Bears so bad at this?
You feel bad for Jensen. He comes back for big money after Brady unretires and then tears up his knee. You could argue it was worth the 15 or so million he got to come back if he retires after this year. But he already had earned 45 million. Was it worth it to get the extra money to be much more likely to have a knee replacement at a young age? Maybe, but he has to be wondering at this point.

I was looking forward to seeing if he would ruffle some feathers on the Packers defense. I guess that might have to wait until the 2nd game this year.

Nice start to one-on-ones for #Packers OT Yosh Nijman, standing up Rashan Gary twice. Nijman didn’t take any reps after that. It was a good place to stop.
#Packers rookie Devonte Wyatt showed his athleticism in one-on-ones, winning two of three reps vs. LG Jon Runyan. Wyatt’s speed forced a hold on first rep. After Runyan stood him up, Wyatt came back with impressive hands to shock Runyan out of position, then explode past him.

s TE Marcedes Lewis is not participating first padded practice today. He’s done this long enough anyway.

Alexander seems to be OK. He was chatting with fans and then put bands around his ankles and did this (in background behind the QBs) during special teams
