Adding a picture to a post.

From the web, find the picture, right click, "copy image."

Right click on the post, "paste"

Thanks, I will assume it works the same way from my removable hard drive.  I will try it at lunch and see how it goes. 

Wasn't sure where you were getting your pictures.  

Same process applies (at least from my PC).  I prefer to click the "collapse attachment" box because I see no reason for that to clutter up the webpage.  

You can also click on the paperclip "add attachments" link right below the box you are posting in.  You would then need to go to the drive you want to access, chose the file and proceed.  

Learned something.

Just don't host your pictures on Photobucket.  They no longer allow third-party embedding unless you pay them $400.

Easy access is to upload photos to the web.  Are you using a smart phone at all for photos?  Either way if you can get the photos onto your PC you can then upload them to a photo sharing site.  You don't have to share anything you don't want but then they are easily accessible from the web.    Then, when you post a reply here or other sites on the web, you can just use the direct link provided by the photo share site.  

I am not a smart phone user.  The cell phone is provided to me complements of my employer.  They want me "to be more assessable".  Imagine that.  But it doesn't take pictures or do any of the things smart phones do.

This applies to about everyone I encounter.  

You can still use a photo sharing site if you have your photos downloaded to your computer.  

For me, those "smart phone-less" days are numbered.  Retirement is my near future.  I will have to give back the cell my employer gave me, and get a REAL phone.
