I don't know Goldie.  That is weird.   Usually if the game starts at 11 am (normal early start)....they will give that time (or Noon Eastern).  However, the way they are advertising the game is that indeed it will start at 10:30 am Camp Randall time.   I'll be back there for the game so I don't mind the early start.   But I don't think the student section will fill up until halftime now.

I heard on radio discussions that Fox made the decision.  It wasn't Michigan or anyone else... hell even the next game, the huge O$U and Michigan is 11am, so is the Iron Bowl (or so I heard).

Who cares,  I just like 2:30 starts or night for personal selfish reasons.

My biggest bitch is how pathetic the student section is for damn near any game.  I thought the 5th quarter was still a huge thing.   This show up for the 3rd quarter and leave after jump around is embarrassing.

Sell the tickets to people that will show for the game and stay!  It's a 9-0 team and the stands aren't filled before the game even starts?!?!?!   Unbelievable.

Bring on the Wolverines.

Just keep doing what you do and F'EM BUCKY!

figured.   I still am ticked that he got the refs to call delay of game penalties way back when he was still a QB at UM.   It was a night game, the crowd was going crazy for a Badger comeback, and Harbaugh would come to the line and pretend his offense couldn't hear him call the cadence or play.  So, he turns to the ref and says I can't run a play.  The crowd gets even louder then.   After doing this twice, the ref call a penalty on the home crowd.   I couldn't believe it.  Still can't get over it.   (I know, get a life, huh).  But it is still wrong no matter how many years ago that was.

I still remember that game to this day and watching it then my jaw just hit the floor.  But I knew it was (and still believe) that it was a call out of favoritism for Michigan.  And I still want revenge on Michigan for the trouncing's Bo used to put on UW.

Anyhow here is a good article I thought I would share and I really like the picture of Bucky Badger.

First Badgers game I was ever at was I was 19 years old at the 1988 Big Ten Opener Badgers vs. Michigan.  I believe Michigan went up 28-0 in the first quarter and won 63-14.  The funny thing is, I still had a great time as it was my first Badgers game and sitting near the student section and seeing all their crazy antics was just awesome.

I would have never dreamed the Badgers could ever be as great as they are right now.  While this isn't the best Badgers team I have ever seen, I think it very well might be the best defense I've ever seen them have.  It is amazing how well they are able to confuse offenses and penetrate into the backfield.  And maybe even more amazing... it doesn't seem to matter who is in there, lose TJ Watt and Vince Biegel and Jack Cichy... and they are playing better now than when all those talented guys were in there.

Don't underestimate the impact of good coaching.

Bob Bostad returned to UW this year as the LB coach and I'm not sure they have ever been better?  His last stint at Wisconsin was as OL coach and they churned out some dominant players during his tenure.

Jim Leonhard is on the fast track to stardom as well.   He won't be a coordinator for long if this type of success continues.

I also think coaching has a ton to do with this right now.  I think Chryst is the perfect coach at the perfect time for this program.  He seems like a smart, calm, and a steading influence on this team.  I also like how he is making a real effort on offense to make them a little more balanced.

Leonhard won't be long for Madison I am afraid because his star seems to be really rising and fast.  My hope is that his love for UW will keep him around awhile but sooner or later a program is going to come calling with a boat load of cash.
