I guess we cab just cut Sogard now?

How can you pitch to Sogard and keep a straight face ?
F the Cubs.
And reallly, really F their front-running phony fans---I never saw a Cubs cap South of Memphis in my life until 2 years ago---now, all of the "life-long" front-runners are wearing 'em.
Go figure.
Need a new thread. Something like CUBS SUCK!!!

I vote an emphatic "NO!!"
BK - all teams that win have front runner fans. You think all the fans around the country sporting Packers gear after a Super Bowl win are die-hards?? The Cubs have a very good national following as evidenced by their really good road attendance figures (even in lean years), but there's certainly gonna be bandwagoners during good spells. All teams have them. I get the "Cubs hate", although I've never had much angst for the Brewers. I would actually root for them when the Cubs aren't in playoff contention (except when they play the Cubs). F the Cards always, though!!
Hader better get those generous low strikes in the 8th...
No one can throw a strike all of a sudden...
Whew.
Knebel throws 2 strikes in 10 pitches but the shift gets them out of it.
Brewers are struggling to make the big play against this team this year. That means theyâre in their heads...
Name a player you hate more than Jason Heyward?
Jady Molina
after that though?
Damnit... Braun smashed that...

Yep.
Damn right that was strike 3
C'mon fellas.
It's late.
Jeffress is wearing the wrong jersey...
Damn right that was a strike
End this fuc*er...
Man, Arcia is just lost at the plate.
Albers. ****
one pitch.
Ducking fat Albers
Fat Albers strikes again.ðĪŽ
Jeffress threw only 15 pitches.ðĪ
Hader threw 35.ðĪ
Why go to fatty?ðĪ
And this is what it looks like to pee your pants against your biggest rival...
Why not let Jeffress go more than one inning ?

Need him tomorrow I guess. No Hader til game 3 now.
POWNED
**** this team...
Must be what Bears fans feel like.
Albersâ pitches have nothing to them. No movement, nothing. He gets into the zone and theyâre all over it. ****!!! I hate that team.
All with 2 outs
Logan can take the first short bus out of town.
Itâs the Cubs division until the Brewers can prove they are better which means beating those guys. The Brewers need to shift their mindset from just happy to be there to we are going to win this thing. They arenât there yet.
Braun summed it up perfectly after the game. They do all the little things very well especially in key moments of the game.
Oh, and it might help to score a run or two against their starters? JFC itâs frustrating to watch.
after last nights game the Crew leaps to the front of the Wild Card standings!!
Of course, the compelling issue is not last night's loss, but having lost 8 of 9 to the Cubs. That is even surreal. WTF.
In 9 head to head games so far this year the Brewers have scored 11 runs against Chicago. Thatâs atrocious.
Leading off...
Lead off home runs are awesome.
I cannot believe the run down play Cain and Yelich just pulled off.
Great game by Chase tonight .
Gotta win tomorrow...

What a weird play...but too funny! Smart play by Cain to notice the Cubs blunder.
I wonder if this beautiful moment of the game will be the catalyst to "turn the worm" on the hex the Cubs have on the Brewers this year? Maybe we can win the next 7 of 8 from the Cubs and tie the series ?
We'll find out tomorrow.
Watched a lot of baseball over the years and happened to tune in live right in time to watch the Cain and Yelich play. It reminded me a lot of the Freeman catch âhe did what?!?!â Even better was the reaction from Cubs players looking shocked and disgusted. Best ever!
Nice game by Anderson and would be great to see him return to form. Heâs been scuffling a bit this year and heâs an important member of this team and their success.
Lets go get them again today and take the series. They are due.

Series Win.
I think right now Jesus's biggest competition for MVP might be LoCain (just like Cy Young right now is a toss up between JrGuerra and Chacin). I worry the two will split the vote and some unworthy player gets the award.
Lo Cain can play ball.
Chacin is the big surprise so far. He is pitching really well.
Back-to-back shutouts. Brewer pitching - best it's been for quite some time.

Gave them a taste of their own medicine. Thatâs a team saying âenough of this sh*tâ.
Good.
Next...
Nice to see the boys were fired up after the beating they got earlier. Sometimes they need someone to sit down and talk to them about baseball. I read that here once.

As I die-hard Cubs fan, I find the above......
Funny!
Jhoulys Chacin had never thrown a splitter in 209 MLB appearances before yesterday. Against the Cubs in career game #210, he selected the offering 26 times out of 100 pitches, sat between 87-90 MPH, threw 16 strikes with it, and got 12 swings and 3 whiffs.

I didn't see this live, but after watching the link above, I have to ask "Who's on first?"
Lol, nobody!! Smart, heads up base running there.
I am 52 years old and I have been a Cubs fan for as long as I have been a Brewers fan. Of course, back then they were in opposite leagues. Now? Now I just see it as doubling my chances of seeing a WS appearance for a team I support.
I have been blessed with seeing GB in 3 SBs, the Cubs win the WS and the Crew seemingly on the right track. The crew winning the WS would make it a trifecta for me.
And so long as the Vikings donât win a SB in my lifetime, I will die a happy man. ðŽ

I would have to leave the country if the Vikings win the Super Bowl.
I am like you a fan of both the Cubs and Brewers. Until the Brewers moved the the NL (which I still dont like) I had a team to root for in both leagues. But, I will admit I would be way more happier if the Brewers were to win it all than I was when the Cubs did it.
