I think ESPN has jumped the shark....they've made some bad, bad  positioning positions ( i.e taking the Asian-American broadcaster Robert Lee off of a Virginia football game). Don't piss off the paying customers in order to be edgy and "with it"

...and at this very moment I realized they've eliminated their always monkey-poo flinging "comments" section"

Dammit.

I went there before I even went to the articles.

I think Milwaukee is a pretty good baseball town, but they've been such a poorly run organization for 75% of their existence that there just hasn't been enough buzz to keep consistent interest in them either locally or nationally.

All that said... these last 2 seasons, they have the look of an organization that is well run from top to bottom and that is a breath of fresh air.

Bushville was the talk of the baseball world back in the mid 50's.  Great  team, great attendance and great success.  Then came the move to Atlanta and the wheels came off.

The Brewers have a great fan base but not enough of a track record to relate to the nation.  The Bambi's  Bomber and Harvey Wallbanger years did not last long enough to create a country wide following.  How many meaningful games have they played in September over all these years?  For a good percentage of their years they have been essentially out of it by the all star break.

Im hoping that this version of the team can stay together, remain healthy and finally get some national buzz.  It's tough to break thru and stay relevant for years and years.

Their decision to pivot from including MLB and NHL in their coverage and to instead pour most of their resources into the NBA and NFL definitely demonstrates they had cultural demographics in mind. Even FIFA to bring in the European crowd. They’re not even trying to hide it anymore.

That and their complete shift to Democrat party politics and talking points has sealed their fate. They brought Olberman back for Pete’s sake- this guy is completely unhinged, but he’s brought back? Yikes- eson is a network dying a slow, painful death. For sports networks, I never understood this idea... even Michael Jordan said “Republicans buy shoes, too.” Why would you deliberately lop off a significant portion of your audience/customer base?

the cbssports website always has an article on each major league baseball game.  ESPN's web page does not.  Not even last night's Brewers-Braves game, a game between what were division leaders (Braves now a shade behind the Phillies).

I kid you not.  Not even an on-line article on the game.  Incredible to me.

Finally get the Crew on our MN fox station.....and they arn’t looking like the best team in the big leagues.  Ugh...... come on Brewers.

I found some REALLY good streams of the Brewers games on reddit.  I can't even tell it's streaming most of the time.  Just search "brewers stream reddit"

Do you have any problems with them hiring an actual conservative pundit with no sports background whatsoever? Or are you only SO SO ANGRY when it doesn’t align with what your Republic Party (HURRRRRR you morons and your “Democrat” party schtick never gets old. How fukking clever!!!! See it’s funny! DURRRRRRRR) talking heads tell you what to think?

Because I bet your hate has nothing to do with bitching about “stick to sports”, it’s just that it isn’t always 100% spouting what you have been told to think.
