I think Keil hates Harper because he relates to Harper

If things couldnβt go worse for the #Mets these days, now Tim Tebow, their September drawing card, likely will miss rest of season with broken hamate bone, per @AdamSchefter

Well, they have to go out and find some pitching at this point.
Iβd have let Chacin finish the inning
Orf remains a better hitter than Sogard
What is orf?

I'll take some of whatever you're drinking.
It's a big glass of "Orf's OPS is 70 points higher"
Granted, "better hitter than Sogard" is a low ****ing bar in baseball.
I also want to mention, after defending Braun the other day, every at bat he had last night was complete ****.
Braun looked like he was going through the motions. Shell of his old self.
I was thinking Braun just needed some rest to recover from his various ailments. He's actually playing much worse after all that rest than he was before. Very disappointing. That contract between he and the Brewers can't end fast enough if he keeps playing like he has been.

Is he really healthy or is he just trying to play through a chronic injury at this point? He's now 4 for his last 34 with no walks and an OPS of 364.
If he has any value at this point, it's as a DH in an American League park. He's obviously never been a good defender and playing the field just it makes it more likely he'll get injured.
He's got two more years and 36 million (plus a 4 million dollar buyout in 2021) left on his contract.
The thought of facing Jr. Guerra makes Harper sick

Or did the Roids make him the beast he once was ?
just allergic to big hits right now

I think the roids are what kept the nagging injuries away.
Christian can hit though
Thames hasnβt had a good at bat tonight
It was the Cain and Yelich show. Sure would be nice to get some production from somewhere else in the lineup. 7 for 9, 3 rbis, 3 runs scored, and ignited the rally to win.
I love Jeffressβ Fire. He gets that infield single with 2 outs, then buckles down and gets the out. Bad luck could have rattled him like it does Knebel- but nope. He got the job done. He should be the closer, honestly. Better command, right mentality.
Off the bat, did Christian Yelich think the game-ending fly ball would be deep enough to score Lorenzo Cain? βHe better have scored on that. Heβs telling me how fast he is all the time, so what an opportunity for him to show it off.β pic.twitter.com/XtEAVbL277

Cain and Yelich were great, but a lot of contributions up and down the lineup. Guerra buckling down and keeping them in contact with 4 good innings after giving up 4 runs in the first two innings was big. Braun had a big pinch hit double and scored the tying run. The bullpen arms were outstanding.
A Team Effort in a team game......the winning formula.

well ****
And Peralta gets lit up. Theyβre catching up to him now...

The scouting report on him was that he had a fastball with good movement, but needed to develop another pitch to be a long-term starter.
He needs to throw strikes. Through 5 innings today he had given up 2 hits and 6 runs.
Peralta has talent thatβs for sure. Hope they arenβt burning him out.
Canβt miss prospect? Not so sure about that.
You include him in an Archer or DeGrom deal tomorrow. Heβs not in the same category as Hiura or Burnes
No prospects are "can't miss". Ever.
