but holy balls is Scope bad at hitting. He had an 841 OPS last year, did we trade for Baltimore's Wes Helms?
Tschmack has missed a couple of nice wins since he jumped off the bandwagon. 
Another nailbiter, but happy to have a 2 game winning streak going.
Glad Chase Anderson was able to right himself after a rough 2nd inning. Let's hope this is a sign he's getting back into form.
The only bad thing, I suspect Hader and Jeffress will need a day or 2 of rest now, hopefully we can get by without them.

Some hitters take a 'see ball, hit ball' approach. Others study a pitchers tendencies and are succsessful, in part, because they are able to anticipate pitches.
Either way, it can't be easy to switch leagues in mid season, but the 'Mous' seems to be adjusting much better than Scoop.
A nice 1st inning tonight. Brewers bat around and score 4 runs.

5 runs scored in the 5 games, all on solo HRs. Somehow they're 2-3 in those games.

Well that game ranks with one of the top 5 crummiest losses of the year. It kind of makes you wish Thames would never set foot in the outfield again. It makes you wish that the Brewers had any sort of late game reliever they could count on other than Hader/Jeffress but right now they don't. In fairness though, Taylor Williams looked good until they decided to go with a lefty who has a knack for giving up "gut punch" runs at very bad times.
Nothing will be as bad as the loss to the Pirates to lose their 5th in a row before the All-Star break, but this one isn't too far behind in awfulness.
Knebel is no longer deserving to be on this roster...
Let's hope after yesterday's sh*!$@w that we see the phenom Freddy Peralta show up and not the wild/can't control pitches Freddy show up. Would hate to lose a home series to the Reds. Not the end of the world, but definitely not a good sign of things to come if they do go on to lose this series.
I didn't see the game but it sounds like we got the "Phenom Freddy" today instead of the Wild/Out of Control with his pitches Freddy. Congrats to Freddy on another excellent outing. Maybe in 2 years these types of outings for him will be closer to the norm and the ones where he's just wild with his pitches will be rare.

Nice to have a day game win to take the sting out of a stinker 16 hours before.
Would have been nice to have had the sweep but they are still right there. Played 161 meaningful games last year I’d like to see that number increase by at least one.
