Kentrell Brice wants to come back to the Packers. He's a restricted free agent but he would like a longer deal than just one year, a source said. The Packers have so many other needs on defense and having to replace a safety who's played in 36 games over the last three seasons would create another hole.

Or a really good push off by Cobb.
A push off or just neutralizing the opposing player who was going to back into him?

Rob Demovsky, ESPN Staff WriterAlready a hole there and his name is Kentrell Brice.
I hope he's not back. He has no ability to find the ball in the air, and typically does stupid things when it's in flight (see Washington game).

Yeah, way too much $$$ for a LB on the wrong side of 30.
The Packers can do better then Brice. Waaayy better.
If Brice could do something in coverage then I wouldn’t be against a full re-signing. He plays his ass off and lays big hits, but he looks absolutely lost in coverage.
Brice whiffed a tackle and put Wilkerson into surgery on the same play. But he wants a long term deal.
F**k Brice.
I want a long term deal too.
I'm white, old & expensive....Think I'll get it?
Eagles, DE Graham agree on 3-year extension.
FA Edge rusher off the market.
There's "mutual interest" between the Packers and DT Muhammad Wilkerson for next season, a source said. Wilkerson played just three games last season before a serious ankle injury ended his season. It was a one-year, $5 million deal last year. Would likely be another prove-it deal.
Kind of a no brainer. He'd come cheap and if his attitude is where it needs to be, he'd be a valuable rotational guy
Consistent pass rusher, 28 years old
Teams have been made aware of the #Giants willingness to move Vernon. Another top pass-rusher available https://t.co/M9lnggcuNp

#Packers still have an interest in bringing back free agent S Ibraheim Campbell. However, he tore his ACL against Arizona, which the team didn't disclose. He was very effective in his short stint after being picked up on waivers. Could be ready by training camp and brought back.

Better him than Brice.
At least Campbell plays downhill rather than Brice's looking like he needs a map.

Came down today, Free agent lineman David Irving has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL substance abuse policy. The announcement comes three days after Cowboy teammate, Randy Gregory received his FOURTH substance-abuse suspension.
Gee, wonder what she [catts] thinks of these developments?
Meow!
Went straight to her cankles.
Next man up??
HHCD know something the Packers aren't allowed to announce? (that's Landon Collins twitter)
Called it!!
Give him #36...
I’ll believe it when he signs on the dotted line. Ha Ha wasn’t fond of the green and gold so why would he say that?
Exhibit A if true of why “tampering” is pure bullshit. Everyone knows in the NFL that Combine week is where all the deals are getting done. The key negotiatons and terms get settled now. Only the NFL pretends none of this happens.
Collins could know full well he’s headed to Green Bay and know the terms of his contract. But officially, the Packers will play dumb and channel officer Barbrady from South Park “nothing to see here”.
I never got the impression that HaHa wasn’t fond of green and gold. I think he decided long ago that he just didn’t really want to play football, but he ran through the motions because of the $$$. It was nothing personal.
He obviously wasn’t interested in playing for the Redskins either.
In a previous thread I quoted Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen) from Major League.
Dorn: So I am not about to risk major injury or deface this property for a collection of stiffs!
That's exactly how I saw HaHa after his last couple of years in Green Bay & even last year in Washington.

Maybe HHCD wants Collins to go to GB so HHCD can look at going to NY for Collins' old spot. "Maybe he just wanted to steal our wire cutters, ever think of that?"
The #Texans have placed the franchise tag on Jadeveon Clowney, source said.

so when Collins and an edge rusher like Fowler or Flowers signs, what does that do to the draft? offense, offense, offense? It would be nice for a change.

Except Dorn already had his contract and wanted to coast. HHCD was in his contract year, he apparently he doesn’t understand you don’t get to coast until after you have some guaranteed $’s.
Dorn was underrated. Unlike Jesus, he could hit a curve ball.

You are probably better than Brice
Snagging Landon Collins would be a huge get. CJ Mosely would be nice too.
Along side Martinez, the Packers would have a pretty stellar ILB corps:
The Ravens will not use the franchise tag on C.J. Mosley, a representative of the linebacker told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
That will make Mosley an unrestricted free agent next week.
Coach John Harbaugh said last week that the Ravens want Mosley back, but couched it by saying “there are limitations with money.” Thus, Mosley could see more money on the open market.
The franchise tag for a linebacker comes with a $15.443 million salary for 2019.
Mosley, 26, has made the Pro Bowl in four of his five seasons. He has 597 tackles, 8.5 sacks and six forced fumbles in his career.
Moseley is 26 years old. I'm completely disgusted watching the LB'ers play. Packers Haven't had a good one since Desmond Bishop.
Go get him Gute! 4 years $45-$50 million
Sign Collins and Mosely... resign CMIII and draft Sweat at 12. Brand new defense.

Ok, let’s not start a holy war here.
I'll be in my office..... {Waves newspaper on ass}
I've been pointing at Mosley for months. Pettine likes good ILBs.
