Agreed.  There's only so many snaps in a football game.  Everybody preaches to RTFB over and over again to control the game, give the defense a rest, etc, etc.  When you do that, you obviously aren't throwing the ball all over the field.

Diggs is a top 10 WR,

I had to put a list together & see.....

Michael Thomas / Amari Cooper / Odell Beckham / D. Adams / Keenan Allen / JuJu / S. Watkins / D. Hopkins / Julio Jones / AJ Green / B. Cooks / T.Y. Hilton

I put 12 up I think are better than Diggs. I actually have more....Guys like Edelman & Kupp

Just my thoughts....

Diggs is also ticked because Thielen is seen as the next great (white) hope and is overtaking Diggs as a fave QB target. He's a little upset.

And he's acting exactly the way any passive aggressive MINhead would act.  He's giving his employers the silent treatment.

Robert Woods, Chris Godwin, Jarvis Landry, OBJ, Allen Robinson, Golladay,  Sanu, Christian Kirk, ..... I could add many more.

Why does this guy think he is so good? He's a good player but obviously has that me first BS going on. He's like 25 other NFL players at his position. He's a good #2 WR who misses a bunch of games. There are plenty of those around the league but they play more than he does.

Yeah I disagree...

Hopkins, Adams, Thomas, Julio, Cooper, OBJ, Diggs, Allen, Thielen, Juju for me.

Diggs may be the fastest viking WR, on a fly route. He could easily fly past GB's secondary, last year. This year, not so much. I love how Jaire got inside his head in week two. He messed Diggs up! I think Diggs could be Dez 2.0. Not a great locker room presence. I'd pass on him being even being considered as trade worthy for the Packers.

So not just one....but TWO WR's in the top 10.

I'll give ya they're better than anything the Pack has not named Adams but the Viking QB must REALLY suck if they have TWO WR's in the top 10.

this tells you a lot about queen culture, stumbled upon at yahoo yesterday.

The Vikings are stuck with quarterback Kirk Cousins through 2020. And that fact apparently kept them from signing CFL quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell.

Via 3downnation.com, Mitchell recently said that he worked out last December for the Vikings, after being named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player. Coach Mike Zimmer, according to Mitchell, was present.

After the workout, an unnamed team official met with Mitchell and asked how he could help the Vikings win.

“I was like, ‘Well, for one, I’ve never been anywhere in football and not won a championship as a starter,'” Mitchell said. “‘High school, DI, DI-AA, now here in the CFL. Everywhere I’ve ever been I’ve won a championship within the first three years I’ve been there. I can help you do that. I’m going to come in here, I’m going to take Kirk’s job.'”

That wasn’t what the Vikings wanted to hear, according to Mitchell.

“He was like, ‘Oh, no, no, n-n-n-no, we don’t want you to take Kirk’s job. We want you to come in here, help him with his eyes, tell him what you see, do everything you can to make him a better quarterback. But we need a good quarterback room, we don’t want you to cause controversy. At that moment I was like, ‘Well, I’m not signing with the Minnesota Vikings.’

“I don’t understand that thought process. All that tells me is there’s a culture in that building right now that, ‘Hey, your job is secure because of the money we paid you. Don’t worry about anything you do or the decisions you make or anything the media says, just do what we tell you to do and you’re going to be fine.’ It’s mind-blowing. You don’t even want a guy that’s pushing him or creating competition.”

While Mitchell’s version of the events may indeed be accurate, the Vikings wouldn’t be the only team that wants a backup quarterback who knows his place. There’s a way to push the starter and to create competition without having a clear and open effort by the backup to supplant the guy who holds the job.

Regardless of the manner in which Mitchell interpreted the message from the Vikings, the contract given to Cousins says it all. Three years, $84 million, fully guaranteed. It’s his job, unless and until the Vikings decide that they’ve had enough, and that they’re willing to pay all or part of his $29.5 million salary in 2020 for him to go away.

Depending on what happens over the course of the next 12 games, that could be what happens.

They are staaaaacked alright. All other NFC North teams are staaaaacked right on top of them.

That is hilarious @Tdog

The guy is a football player....he wants to PLAY not be Kark's QB coach/babysitter.

“I can see why Adam Thielen is frustrated. Because Adam Thielen is saying in practice I’m wide open down the field or I’m beating this guy by two steps, why is our $84 million dollar quarterback not accurate enough to get me the ball or get me a chance?”

He'd be scary as the Viking QB because he wouldn't listen to the coaches. That's why he isn't signed by an NFL team. It sounds like he isn't coach-able

It’s embarrassing that they can’t get a passing game going. Diggs and Thielen are legit players and the fact that they can’t get the ball to them should be embarrassing for Vikings fans. I love it personally, I’d much rather those guys not touch the ball. I don’t want either of them in GB, I think they’re both divas. Thielen gets up bitching to the ref every single play he doesn’t catch the ball. They’re super talented though, both great route runners, super productive despite having Case Keemun and Kirk Cousins, elite hands, etc.

Diggs and Thielen coming out of last year may have both been top 10.  They are that good.  Did they regress or did the QB regress? Won't say but they are not currently playing in a top 10 passing offense and I don't think they're the problem.

I was at that Vikes game at Lambeau a few weeks ago.  There were a number of passes that day where either Diggs or Thielen were definitely open but Cousins made poor throws that didn't connect.  I thought the Packerss' MVP that day was Cousins, his poor decision making and lack of accuracy was the difference in that game.  Cousins was definitely better a couple years ago with the Redskins than he looks now.  I just wonder if the pressure of the big contract is affecting him.

Not replacing Pat Shurmur at OC after 2017 is what doomed Zimmer. Shurmur had that offense humming in 2017, so what did they do? Blow up the whole thing by bringing in a new scheme, new QB, and then firing the new OC 2/3 through the season...an OC who is now coaching a rookie backup QB to a 106 rating in J’Ville while Cousins has a healthy 88 rating! 😂

The Twins have a long history of struggling with the Yankees, anytime. Smug Twins fans have been quiet all season long because the Twins were "good" in the regular season, against AL Central pitching.  They did not want to jinx their chances in the playoffs by bragging, especially when they found they had to play the Yankees first. That was probably the worst luck the Twins could have had. Either that or playing the Astros first. One more game for the Twins, if things go as I hope they do.

Mmmmm, I can think of two off the top of my head that weren't.

“Zygi. It’s Rick. Hear me out on this one. New Orleans has this back up that is killing it. Teddy Bathwater. I’m pretty sure I can package two first rounders and get him here. Kirk can back him up until his guaranteed money expires. And get this. He beats teams with winning records. Win Win Zygi!!!...... Zygi????...........”
