I actually was surprised that Rodgers has never had a "perfect" day before.  I think of that Atlanta playoff game in 2010 in particular.  That was one of the greatest days I think any NFL QB has had in the playoffs or any other time for that matter.

Crazy that he had his perfect day with probably the weakest WR/TE corps he's ever had.  Maybe the one thing he does have that helps is 2 RBs that are pretty good at catching the ball and they gave him some good outlets yesterday.

Kurt Warner in the 2009 wild card game.  The one where the refs deliberately let the Cardinals grab Rodgers' facemask.

In 2014, Aaron Rodgers was 31 and on top of the NFL. After his second MVP season in four years, one that ended in a 12-4 record and an appearance in the NFC Championship game, there was little doubt he was the best quarterback in the league, if not the best ever.

And then, poof. Aside from a brief stretch at the end of 2016, we’ve rarely seen that player again.

Wasn't that the game where Larry Fitzgerald tackled Charles Woodson in the end zone and while Woodson was down, LF caught a TD pass? No flag on the OPI.

Thought the TD throw to Jones was just as impressive.

The throw was good but the recognition!! As soon as Jones got a step on the DB (LB?) Rodgers saw there was no way the safety could get over in time and let fly, even though the safety was only a few yards away. Arm strength, accuracy and a sniper's confidence:

"Go ahead. Take a peek."

"The curving away from coverage" is just the result of AR throwing while on the run in the same direction.  Let's not get stupid.

The real crazy thing is that it shows even more so how the TD throw to JW had very little luck to it.  AR threw almost the same pass to JW and completed both, in a bucket while being taken down on the run.  I hope KC fans remember this performance whenever they want to crown Mahomes as doing things "they had never seen before".
