Not defending Favre but on INT play but he had ankle injury in game that limited his running ability. Beating he took probably made him hesitate. I remember he posted post game pics of deep bruises from headhunting Saints D.

He didn't have that excuse in the Philly playoff game, or the Giants NFC championship game, or the 6 interception game against the Rams....

Ram game never bothered me because they were pretty clearly the better team. The Giant and Eagle games are another matter....

Agreed that the Rams were a better team, but the Rams scored on
1. A Pick 6
2. A 4 yard TD drive after another Favre almost pick 6.
3. Another pick 6
4. Another pick 6
Yes, it was 45-17, but Favre was responsible for 28 Rams points. Don't forget that Green and Freeman also lost fumbles during the game. 8 turnover games don't really allow an assessment of whether the Packers could have pulled off an upset.
