NFC Pro-Bowl TEs

TJ Hockenson 60 receptions, 675 yards, 6 TDs

Evan Engram 54 receptions, 572 yards, 1 TD for a 5-9 team

Compare them (especially Engram) to Robert Tonyan

Tonyan 49 receptions, 551 yards, 10 TDs.

I'll grant that Hockenson has a stong case, but there is no way Engram should have made it over Tonyan.

Good for Elgton Jenkins, he deserves the recognition.
Elgton's ability to slot in anywhere on the OL and excel has been key to the Packers success this season.

Something his agent will certainly remind the Packers about in a couple of years.

Engram will drop the invite, and officials will then send it to GB and its rightful recipient.

Hard to disagree with that. Very good case for Linsley as well but injury likely hurt his chances.

Linsley and Tonyan deserved to make it.  Linsley was a no brainer.  He's arguably the best center in the league, and no doubt the best in the NFC.  And I hadn't considered Tonyan to be a pro bowler until i see who made it over him.  Engram isn't that good and Tonyan had better numbers.  And Engram can't block at all.

Hard to argue against any of the guys who made it.  Rodgers and Adams were no brainers.  Jones is 2nd in the NFC in rushing.  Z Smith is 3rd in sacks.  And the other guys don't have stats to support them but can't really argue Bakhtiari, Jenkins, and Alexander are outside the top 3 at their position.

Hard to pass on Jenkins when the dude has been MVP of the Oline moving all over the place. Guard here, Center there, outside here... I mean, Swiss army knife and he does them all well. Maybe he didn't do so well against the Panthers, but nobody did.

Who gives a shit. The pro-bowl

is for clowns.

Okay, the players give a $hit😊 Tongan has to learn that if he repeats this performance next year he’ll be a pro-bowler. The pro-bowl is all about name recognition. This year no one jnew who he was. Next year they’ll know him.

No Tonyan? No Amos? I hate pro bowl voting. Did Ngaoke get voted in at OLB? Hoping minnesota gets screwed in their draft/comp picks.

Here's a link for some basic info, albeit from last year.
NFL Performance Bonus

Surprisingly, it's based on playing time. And UFDAs that make a team and play regularly can make a killing, apparently.

Krys Barnes should cash in this year.

He's done a pretty good job covering the middle. Last night I noticed on one play the Titans player caught the ball over the short middle but Barnes was right there to bring him down immediately after the catch. That's something we haven't seen too often in years past.
