If I recall correctly, the charge against Lewis came from an over-zealous prosecutor, and it was later dropped shortly thereafter.

Lewis has openly acknowledged that he made some bad decisions earlier in his life, in terms of who he associated with. But Lewis himself did not commit a crime.

Has any QB who won a SB before they turned 30 ever won another after turning 30? Just off the top of my head, Farb, P.Manning, Brady, Montana?, Aikman, E. Manning? etc. Just a curious trivia question...and concerns for AR winning another.

Bart Starr won NFL titles at the ages of 27, 28, 31, 32, and 33.

Not Super Bowls but Bart Starr won 2 NFL Championships before age 30 and 2 Super Bowls after age 30.

No thanks, can only take so many "wicked" references. BTW, Beady was wicked bad today.
Terrell Suggs does not like the Patriots

quote:
Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs doesn’t like the Patriots. And now that he’s on his way to the first Super Bowl of his career after beating them in the AFC title game, Suggs has teed off on his team’s long-time nemesis.

“Tell them to have fun at the Pro Bowl,” Suggs said after the game, via Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports. “Arrogant f–kers.”

Suggs elaborated, explaining that, in his view, “These are the most arrogant pricks in the world starting with [coach Bill] Belichick on down.”

Suggs eventually calmed down, but only after pointing out that “ever since Spygate they haven’t been able to win.”

Nothing.

O.J. wasn't convicted of murder either.

Your point?

That, um, Lewis wasn't convicted of murder?

I've heard that all before. I still haven't seen anything which suggests that Lewis should have been charged with murder. In that article, a family member of a victim even notes that, based upon sealed testimony, Lewis was guilty of making a "bad choice in friends."

I also don't see how the Lewis case is really comparable to the OJ Simpson case. In OJ's case, it was clear that he likely acted alone in committing the murder. In Lewis' case, there is nothing to suggest that he personally committed murder.

Bradshaw.
I just read that USAToday article on the family of the 2 guys that got murdered- both families filed civil suits with Lewis and settled out of court. Doesn't that end the "ray Lewis is a murderer" talk? He wouldn't rat out his friends. Is that so uncommon?
