Here’s what I have...
Bucks Record: 68-14
Eastern Conference Finals: Bucks versus Celtics
Western Conference Finals: Clippers versus Jazz
NBA Finals: Bucks versus Clippers
NBA Champions: Bucks
League MVP: Harden
Defensive POTY: Giannis
SIXTH Man: Lou Williams
Comeback Player:
Top Rookie: Deandre Hunter
Top Coach: Doc Rivers, Clippers
Top Executive: Michael Winger, Clippers
Bucks Record: 58-24 (I think they'll be some load management losses)
Eastern Conference Finals: Bucks versus Sixers
Western Conference Finals: Clippers versus Nuggets
NBA Finals: Bucks versus Clippers
NBA Champions: Clippers
League MVP: Curry
All League 1st Team: Giannis, Leonard, Davis, 2 of 3 of Harden/Curry/Irving
Defensive POTY: Gobert
SIXTH Man: Lou Williams
Comeback Player:
Most Improved: Fultz
Top Rookie: Zion. If he plays 60 games, he'll win it. He won't win it, but don't sleep on Tyler Herro. It's amazing that in less than 3 years he's gone from a relatively good Badger commit to a All-Rookie First Team candidate.
Top Coach: Doc Rivers, Clippers
Top Executive: Michael Winger, Clippers
I’ll add All NBA 1st Team: Giannis, Jokic, Curry, Davis, Lillard
Jon Horst should be on the phone right now with GS about what it’ll take to get Russell. GS should be in full tank mode at this point. Green out a few games/weeks? with a torn ligament in his hand.
I would love D'Angelo in Milwaukee
The Bucks have some decisions to make and it doesn’t have to do with Giannis.
Bledsoe and to a lesser extent Middleton are not helping this team get to the next level.
For Bledsoe, it’s not talent it’s desire and effort and poor decision making. When Brogdon was here I think he hid some of Bledsoe’s warts as a facilitator and came up big in key moments. Right now, he looks lost and I’m not sure if we haven’t seen the best of him.
As for Middleton, he’s not good enough to simply coast or tune out mentally and it’s almost like he defers too much because he doesn’t want the spotlight. Unfortunately, the Bucks are stuck with him due to the contract.
If I am Horst I am on the horn trying to figure out how to deal Bledsoe. Perhaps package him with someone else like DJ Wilson but I think they can win with Hill and DD. In a pinch they could go with a bigger guard lineup featuring Sterling Brown.
D'angelo Russell isn't eligible to be traded until December 15th.
Here are two lists of Warriors players. The first is from the from the game Durant played in the Finals this past June. The bottom one is from last night - less than 5 months later.
Finals Roster: Curry, Durant, K. Thompson, Green, Iguodala, Cousins, Looney, Livingston, Cook, Bell, Bogut, McKinnie
Last night: Paschall, Robinson III, Cauley-Stein, Bowman, Poole, Spellman, Chriss, Burks, Lee
I'm sure one of the sports stats companies could look for this quickly, but has any team in NBA history ever played a game in which there wasn't one single player that played that was on the roster the previous year?
