Could be out up to three months if it's serious. The way he was carted off, it wouldn't surprise me it's more than just a tiny tear. Zimmer must be blowing smoke when he says AP could play this week...

The way he was acting, I was thinking amputation was one the table.
Something ain't right...
I hope his son takes his cane and beats on his knee while he's laid up.
Agree. His reaction and inability to put any weight whatsoever on it reminded me of tearing my own meniscus: right off the bone and jamming it in the joint. Couldn't even hardly wiggle my toes and putting weight on it was out of the question. Major surgery, of course.

The Vikings can't run the ball. And it wasn't just Mike Daniels giving the Vikings nightmares. Last week, the Titans blew up that interior OL as well.
AP's injury looked bad last night, but as he went down, I wondered to myself will it really matter? Because he wasn't going anywhere before the injury.
Beating the Vikings this season isn't going to take rocket science. Bradford has virtually no mobility and the Queens can't run. So, pin your ears back send the house and give him no options to throw.
And predictably, that's exactly what Ron Rivera is going to do this week. The Vikings will look like shi* just like Jacksonville did the following week playing GB.

Yeah, **** that a-hole. I was hoping he had blown out his knee. Child beating ahole.
Oh great. Zimmer even out did MM with regard to being ridiculous about injuries. "Hasn't ruled him out for this week". He's gone at least 6.
If you want to learn about a Torn Meniscus
We will probably never know how severe it is, but the way they carried him off last night made it seem like amputation was necessary. (as Packfoo stated)
If it's as bad as Fandame's torn meniscus was, he's not playing for quite a few weeks.
Once the swelling in the knee joint resolves, the goal of therapy is to increase the strength of the muscles surrounding the knee, return range of motion to normal, and promote and preserve stability of the joint.
Elite athletes return to practice within one to two weeks after surgery, but they are a motivated group of people who spend hours each day in rehabilitation. For most other patients, return to mild routine activity occurs in less than six weeks.
I've been around a lot of torn meniscus injuries related to football. The most minor ones have guys walking around thinking they just sprained a knee, and they can walk it off. They scan it, find out it's a minor tear, and they are still out 2-4 weeks minimum...and they could put weight on it.
By the way, did anyone else find it odd that to escort AP to the locker room they had to walk him through a lounge area in the concourse past rows of tables, seats, tv screens, etc? Who the hell designed that stapler?
I found it odd that 2 guys were carrying him in.
I wonder what they do with a stretcher case.
I loved the video of the staff dragging AP through the restaurant on the way to the ambulance. They need to put "ACL Tear" on the menu. Shredded pork and HGH. Ordered 8 months in advance.
The Gary Anderson. They bring you an empty plate and pile your food on the table to the left.
The Brett Fave. They bring your order to the wrong table.
The Super Bowl. No food ever arrives.
Love Boats. Potato skins with a mystery white sauce.
The Denny Greene. Served on one knee.
The Brad Childress. Tacos.
The Mike Tice. 4 crayons a 2x4 and a tonka truck.
Sad part is, this probably helps the viqueens. He is washed up.
It was laughable
Spend 1 billion on a new stadium and you literally have two slappies carrying him to the lockeroom? Was the only hand cart being used?
Stoopid but typical Minnesoduh nonsense. The light rail people must have been in cahoots with the Wilfs lol

I could not believe that when I saw it. Surreal.
And the turf, they must have purchased it used from some high school as they had no money remaining in the budget. The injuries will pile up on that turf.
The injuries are already piling up
It looks pretty but that place is a hot mess - literally. Can't control the damn internal temperature (thanks ****ty HVAC), outside panels falling off and people dying during construction (thanks OSHA), and the dings and tweaks and PUP list will continue to grow with what appears to be the crappiest playing surface this side of Soldiers Field.

The Randy Moss - Pay "straight cash homey"
The Fred Smoot - too many possibilities to even mention
The Bryant McKinnie from the love boat- the fish sandwich
The Adrian Peterson - The children's menu

Bobby Flays Black & Blue burger?
The Adrian Peterson - a tree branch with a side of pine tar.
The Jim Marshall - wrong order.
The Drew Pearson - Bloody Mary.
The Chis Hovan - Mad cow burger
The Bud Grant - best thing they'll ever serve. Forever.
The Darren Sharper - Takes 18 years to fill the order
The Jennings - Day old food scavenged from a competing restaurant that keeps coming back up on you.
The Lambeau - Catch of the day.
The Tarkenton - Scrambled egg whites.
The Giant - 41 wings. Zero sauce.
The Longwell- Aquavit on the rocks with a squeeze of a bar rag from Applebee's
All these menu ideas sound great ! Just don't dare to eat there in the month of January cause you will end up choking at that restaurant sometime during your visit....every time.
John Randle. Whole chicken. Bloody.

When Fackrell tackled AP, I saw AP's leg twitch slightly. I thought AP had broken his fibula. No way he could put weight on it. This was a serious injury. I don't like players getting injured and don't wish it on anyone, but karma's a bitch for the child beater. Yeah, and what's with the no cart thing? The vikings may have won the game but they lost their star RB and a Rodgers to Jordy pass was the first TD in the the new stadium's record books. The vikings O line is porous, their offense needs work and Bradford will be lucky to last the season in one piece and with no cart to carry him off the field...

You know AP's injury has got to be worse than what Zimmer says it is. He keeps his cards close to his vest. He wouldn't even reveal who his QB was going to be until the last minute. The same goes for Bridgewater's injury. All the viking staff said was that TB tore his ACL and dislocated his lower leg/knee. The report from the hospital said he had several ligaments reattached, as well.
I picture the Vikings standing on the field just outside the path to the locker room after blowing another playoff game and none of them wants to make the walk because the restaurant had a ribs n slaw special.
The Civil War ended over 100 years ago Chilli. The North won.
More like lutefisk and tater tot hotdish.
It's not over. The south is just laying low. Planning. Northerners have been putting away comfort food for 140 years. Think about it.
Shh

The War of Northern Aggression to us, bub.
I guess it worked.
Maybe. When North People (TM) are ordering chicken fried steak and revenge 20 years from now at Denny's don't say you weren't warned.
