If you saw the game yesterday and read some of the comments the players released last week about their coach, I don't think the Vikings really care too much anymore. They hate their coach so they're quitting on him. They looked awful soft yesterday with some suspicious injuries occurring to at least one vocal player - Percy Harvin. It looks to me like they've packed it in.

Still, I think it's all the more reason to step on the gas and never let up. Jump on them early, make it a chore to beat us, and they'll quit. Would be nice to pull a Badgers 85 on them.

I was more commenting on the fact that I believe the Packers are the best team in the NFC right now...QUOTE]

Not if you listened to any Chicago radio this morning. Holy cow are those guys are high. "We can beat anybody if we play like we did yesterday". Direct quote. I've heard parts of their chatter after several of their games this year and both the radio heads and the callers sounded at least a little level headed but boy, beat the Vikings and they're suddenly world beaters. Should be fun to see them at Lambeau.
I expected us to be no worse than 7-2 & thought 8-1 or 9-0 were very attainable.

I espected us to play better out of the gate for a change. Silly me.

We lost 3 games by a total of 9 points, 2 IN OT and one penalty filled slopfest on Monday Night.

Losing the Bear game was bad enough but losing to that lame bunch of stiffs in Redskin uniforms really sucks.
The biggest thing that still sticks in my craw is the incredible bad luck in those games. If Zombo doesn't get called for helmet to helmet the Packers beat the Bears. If the Redskins do get called for helmet to helmet the Packers could have beaten the 'skins. If Francis (lighten up) lines up one step back the Packers probably beat the Dolphins. If just one of them had gone their way....
The one game I'd love the Packers to have back was that Redskins game.

I just think as a team they were utterly shellshocked at the number of injuries during that game and it came back to bite them in the end. It seems like the Pack has at least 1 game like that per year that they have no business losing (Tampa in '09 for example), but somehow fate deals a cruel blow and they lose it. Hopefully that 'Skins game was the last game like that this year.
