During the first half of the Week 2 matchup, Packers running back AJ Dillon slipped and attempted to dive for a first down. In the process, Dillon rolled up on Jenkins while he was trying to block, forcing Jenkins out of the game. After the 24-25 loss, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport tweeted that Jenkins is believed to have suffered a sprained MCL, with an MRI coming shortly to determine how severely he sprained his knee.
Unfortunately, that may be the biggest impact Dillon has all year. Falling untouched into an All-Pro lineman and causing him to miss at least a few games.

Disagree. How does he know Love messed up on the 4th down sneak and it wasn't that Meyers failed to snap the ball? If Love had gotten the snap he gets the 1st down. A poor write up all around.

You're thinking of Bubba Franks. He taught Lebron how to fall!
Neither Ed nor Bubba were exactly light on their feet.
@FLPACKER posted:Love said so in his presser
That's good either way.
1. Love screwed up and is taking accountability for it.
2. Myers screwed up and Love is taking the blame as a leader.
Love said there is a word they say for the QB sneak and he said the wrong word. Since nobody on offense other than Love moved, I'm sure that is what happened.
I had to remind myself that this is a young team and they were missing some key guys.
In other words, if you’d told me they wouldn’t have Jones, Bak, Watson and during the game lost Jenkins and LVN and lost by 1 point on the road? Sounds about right. Jones and Bak are 2 of their best 5 and players and the other guys i mentioned are probably top 10.
I also think that Atlanta is a sneaky good team and barring injury Bijan Robinson is a shoe in for rookie of the year.
That being said, I hated how poorly Jaire and Dillon played today. Gary is playing at 3/4 speed and MLF and Barry did this team no favors today. Love played fine - not great, but a “B” type score which normally should be good enough but not today.

Why is it that last week the defense pinned its ears back and got after the Bears and didn't seem to be as physical and aggressive this week? Why is it that one week they are on fire and the next week they are chasing the offensive players and not taking the game to them?
That's been my bitch for years. Last year they take it to the Vikings and the following week with the playoffs on the line they play like pansies.

I think that's a play where somehow Love calls for Myers to snap the ball early and it's an easy 1st down with nobody else moving. I guess Myers didn't get the message.
+ We as Packer fans have a QB folks!!!
+ We also have pretty decent O-Line depth
+ In the limited touches Wilson had I liked what I saw.
- Missing Jones, Bahktiari and Watson - All 3 make a gigantic difference today.
- Jaire....c'mon shit-talker. Be better
- Barry & MLF - I expect more
- AJ Dillon A couple good runs but you must be a lot better.
------- negative x4, Delay of game on 51 yd FG lineup 100% unacceptable.
- Chance to go 2-0 ON THE ROAD to start the season was gigantic. Didn't happen but shake it off and get a win at Lambeau next week.
I have mixed feelings on MLF now. He needs to shake off the Rodgers dependency that he has in certain game situations.
Joe Barry. I'm done complaining about the guy. We're all forced to deal with it the entire year. He isn't getting fired anytime soon and Fritz ain't walking thru that door. The defensive talent is so much better than they showed today. - it's disappointing to say the least.

just was not good enough, lots of mis-cues...in the end, it was not enough. hats off to the dirty birds for eating that clock up...they came through in the end, we did not. mlf had some weak play calling, 10 was off, a bunch of defensive missed tackles, and not good enough for the run d...just a loss. no big deal. we knew this year will have lots of bumps, this was one.
Only the very best teams in the league win 2 straight games on the road. A valiant effort that fell just a little short without 3 4 5 of our preferred starters. (Elgton and VanNess) for part of the game

Another Myers Lemon!

This is the type of shit that still goes on far too often. That's a High School level mistake. With 1,000 people on your sideline and in the booth to watch the clock this simply shouldn't happen at the pro level.
At least get a TO called. It would probably be their best use of one for the entire half.
To me the biggest negative was Jenkins MCL injury. Let’s just hope it’s not something that puts him out for half a season or more.
Second biggest negative, this defense once again just showed their tackling is poor and wilted when Atlanta punched them in the mouth. Tackling wasn’t as bad as the Philly game last year, but it was still an F grade.
Another negative, I think the next 2 games will be tougher than the first 2 games. A win in this game would have given them a little breathing room in case they stumble in either or both of the next couple games.
Positives: As raw and young as the WR/TE group is, there’s real talent there, just need to stay healthy and get on the same page with Love.
The kicker has not been a problem yet, that’s a nice development.
Not sure I’ve ever seen so much postgame discussion among players in locker room as I saw after this one. It happens. For sure, it happens. This looked different. Position to position, players huddled at lockers, discussing plays on the field.

That locker room was a classroom.
+ NFL+ allows me to watch game after church
- Despite having “hide scores” setting on NFL+ it showed final scores on my TV. I saw Pack had 24 pts and figured out they lost as I got to 4th Q.
Barry did switch up personnel but reverted to form (soft zone) in 4th Q.
-G only played 3 quarters, gotta play all 4 to win most games in NFL.
+Young team still learning how to win.

OL coaching staff for handling the shuffle with no major drop off.
This is offset somewhat by pitiful run blocking, but for an on-the-fly, in-game adjustment, they deserve accolades.

Joe Barry.
Whether it is his scheme, game planning, or play calls (or any combination thereof), something ain't working.
I'm seeing the same shit that I've seen from the defense over the last 2 years.
Total breakdown in the 4th quarter of games. Getting pissed on by players with limited skills or experience. Losing games to less talented teams. Underachieving.
My first thought after the game was "at least we didn't get our asses kicked"
Then I looked at the game stats. Boy, was I rong!
446 yards total offense.
78 plays.
36+ minutes TOP.
27 1st downs.
6/15 3rd down conversions.
3/4 4th down conversions.
211 rushing yards allowed.
That is a thorough ass-kicking, no matter how it's sliced or diced.
It seems to me there's no room for any excuses at this point.

Tausch makes a good point about people blaming this on MLF. Basically you got a very young offense that is missing Watson, Jones and it's two pro-bowl Left Tackle and Guard, with a QB making his 3rd start ever and is playing on the road in a dome, and is able to get the team up by 12 in the 4th quarter. It's hard to put too much blame on MLF.

Did someone other than MLF hire. and choose to keep, Joe Barry?

Yep, the buck stops with MLF.

Gute needs to man up, fire Barry now.
Keeping Barry was f'ing dumb, 1970's dumb. A season designed for failure.
Joe Barry Gibbs: how deep is your...DB playing off?
Paws: down their 4 best offensive players, a bunch of rookies and first year starters were up 14 in the 4th.
Nags: this offense currently has no high gear without 33 and couldn't muster a first down at crunch time or even any pts in the 4th.
Lotta mental mistakes on D today.
Love is the real deal, but he's still raw/learning.
Like Pakrz said, they'll be fine.
Gonna be a fun season. Get and stay healthy and they'll be in every game. I can see them winning 9 or 10 games.
He's not going to fire Barry. You all know this but keep talking about it.
One of the first three picks in the next draft will be a running back (the other two will be a safety and offensive lineman)
Health already impacting outcomes.
