Even better news: from MM's presser (ongoing), Rodgers participated fully in practice with no limitations.

Also:

@RobDemovsky: McCarthy on Lang: "TJ. was in the rehab mode today."

@TomSilverstein: McCarthy said that QB Aaron Rodgers, CB Sam Shields and S Morgan Burnett all practiced today and looked good.

Hmmm.

@RobDemovsky: McCarthy hinted there could be some roster changes coming in the next few days.

Of note, Packers reportedly re-signed rookie LB Joe Thomas today who had impressed in TC but dinged up his knee. No official announcement yet and haven't seen whether it's just PS or maybe more...

What's the deal with Jarrett Boykin ? No mention of him lately

Couldn't have been too nasty, they didn't even call a toe truck

MM after practice today:

@TyDunne: McCarthy on Sitton: Had a "big injury" to his toe in New Orleans. He finished. Making progress, potentially see what he can do tomorrow.

@TyDunne: McCarthy on Tretter: Feel comfortable with him at guard position. ... Looks good. Fully recovered. Have all the confidence if JC needs to go

@RobDemovsky: McCarthy on Sitton whether it's a big injury or a big toe injury: It's both.  ( )

Vince coached in the 50's and 60's -  they didn't have turf or turf toes just yet

But I did come across this one about the Ice Bowl:

"Packers Linebacker Ray Nitschke developed frostbite in his feet, causing his toenails to fall off and his toes to turn purple. "

No indication of what Vince said about Ray, but he did play the next week

Rodgers talked to the CHI media today.

Rodgers elaborates on what he learned from Favre: footwork, leadership, how he timed feet up w/ route concepts, anticipation, eye control.

Sitton says he has a torn ligament in his toe but hasn't ruled himself out. Will talk with Dr. McKenzie soon to assess the risk, treatment.

Specialist who saw Josh Sitton's scan told him: "They’ve had to do surgery on [this injury] but not typically with offensive linemen."

But Sitton added: "We feel fine that I’ll be able to go the rest of the season."

said he tore a ligament in the big toe on his left foot. It happened sometime in the second half vs. Saints.

said he's trying different orthotics to allow him to play. If he wasn't an OL, injury would probably require surgery but specialist .
