Badgers Defeat Goophers.

To win a game shooting 34.5%... smdh...

It’s not like they were missing a lot of open shots. The game was a brawl. Gophers were allowed all kinds of contact in the first half, and it set the tone.  It was tough defense by both teams. Everyone was hacking everyone. Tough game and a good learning experience. I’ll take it.

If you'd have told me after the stretch of games that included the Western Kentucky and first Minnesota game that they'd be 9-3 right now in the Big 10, I'd have bet against you big time. They'll probably lose the next two (vs. MSU and than at Michigan), but they'll likely end up around 14-6 in the conference. 

Pistol is right about the game. The way the Gophers play it almost makes the Dick Bennett Badger teams look high paced. 

How about Happ taking a curtain call with the Gopher fans.  

Count me as one who counted them out.   Mea Culpa.

The most valuable development from this performance was the ability to win a Big Ten game on a rivals home court, despite such a rough shooting nite.  U can put lipstick on a goopher but its still a STINKIN  Goopher.  Here is a photo of Happ telling the Goopher crowd,   ( BITE ME )
